Never ever put your trains at high speed if running bunker or tender first. They will derail and all ways run round your trains so the don't derail

ive had tender engines running at full speed backwards on my layout without any problems, my P Way is very good ive got lots of experience lol.

The only real problem i have is gary on the points, the chassis of a 9f is too long to go round them very well, it can, but very slowley.

im going to use EXPRESS PONITS WHERE I CAN on my Rly once it gets going. to avoid that porblem

and you dont need to run round the train when shunting, you'd need god knows how many return loops to do that.
