hm i tried to do this, actually. Eventually i succeded (i was also a arcane warrior/spirit healer) but it took me much longer than you and i did hafta use some heal and mana potions. And a couple heat resistance potions. impressive though, you did it in about 5 minutes, i tried and it took me about 19.
Ok apparently my character is a pile of monkey balls and can't t kill a plant cause I sure as well can't do that witch craft u just did there but I still am getting used to the game so hopefully I can do better

@candlePrince Male/Female makes no difference. Frankly, for Arcane Warriors, where you put your points is pretty insignificant since you're near invulnerable. Moving to avoid Flemmeth's Swipe would make a much bigger difference :-P
Personally I go for survival talents first, with attributes put into WP until I can happily afford all the auras I want, then SP.
Yes, any character can be brought into Awakening. However, Awakening is ridiculously easy to solo anyway.
could the physical resistance with shimmerning shield be bugged in earlier versions of the game? every time i played an arcane warrior i felt so cause even tho my physical resistance said 100% i get knocked down by war cry and the likes every other time which is quite silly lol
i never patched the game cause it says ihe newer versions pretty much add more bugs and crashes than they fix.
didnt find anything about this on the dragon age wiki tho
The video's very nice but I disagree about 2 things for Cailian's Arms. First there is a major game bug that makes +X% healing completely useless (check the Dragon Age wiki). Second: If you sell Maric's blade to Mikhael Dryden, save, load and buy it back it'll be tier 7 with 3 rune slots (this only works if there are no runes in the sword. Works with almost every unique item from RtO and Warden's Keep.
@MLGresurrectionxX Easiest way I beat the High Dragon on nightmare without too high of a level is to have my tank taunt the dragon but keep my distance so it doesn't eat me and have the rest of my party members attack at range...Then when energy is low I go in for the death blow with my tank cause it's just gay if you don't kill the dragon by stabbing him in his head. : D

This boosts your defense to absolutely silly levels. Beating the High Dragon, however, is easy, and can be done solo potionless in many ways.

I used this build and its unstopable used correctly whats cool is making wyne and morigan like this build and then using lelianna as ranger/bard using bow and you have a unstopable party :)

one thing were your a arcane warrior it woulnt of mattered if u used 1h or 2h wepons but i would of suggested useing the secret sword from the temple of magi if deal's a extra 10 dmg to dragon's and on the ps3 it weaken's nearby dragon's im not sure about the pc version though...

Haven't beaten this Dragon because I accidentally missed the Blood Mage specialization. It pissed me off so I stopped playing. Now I'm recreating my new heroin. Anyway, if the Dragon shoots fireball close to itself, does the dragon takes damage AOE as well?
lol... this is one of the easiest boss fights in the game. I remember placing somewhere between 25-35 freezing traps where she was going to spawn and watching her auto die XD
How are you fighting flemeth at level 21? and how are you 21? i thought cap was 20. i know there's an expansion but does it allow you to come back and do origin quests as well? Also, if my character does ritual with morrigan, kills archdemon, then goes back to a save spot and rejects morrgians offer so that i can get ultimate sacrifice, but having them on different save slots, prevent me from importing my chacter into awakening? Would appreciate any info on this!
@PositiveLion The cap is 25 in Dragon Age: Origins. I didn't get the expansion; I'm waiting for DA2, but what I heard is that you can't "come back and do Origins quests", no.
@Carsomyr80 Really? Is it different for PC, cuz i play the 360 version and one of the achievements say "Your main character has reached level 20 as a mage" so i assumed it was 20. Also, how did you manage to reach 21 and fight flemeth? I did as much as i could before fighting archdemon and still only came to level 19
@PositiveLion I did all the possible side quests. Gives quite a fair bit of XP. I finished the game at level 24 for this AW/SH, as you can see from my videos.
@PositiveLion Stone Prisoner came free for me. I purchased Return to Ostagar, but did not do so for Warden's Keep as I'd heard it wasn't worth the price.
Your build is very defensive based actuly, flaming weapons is more dmg , but i see your is good too , if u had mage support in your group would be good dps.
Just fulfil all the side quests, loot as much as you can, and in my case...other than tomes, I didn't buy anything else throughout the entire game, other than what you saw in my videos. Having high Persuasion skill to get people to give you lots and lots of sovereigns is also good. It took me this long (level 21) just to accumulate enough gold from loot+persuasion to buy all that stuff, and finish the quests to loot those items, though, as I don't use any of the money-making exploits.
Sorry to sound terrible at this game but. How do i unlock the arcane warrior spezialisation, ive been looking for a great tactics guide and i found yours, but im not sure how to unlock it. please forgive me for asking stupid questions but this is my first play through of this game.
It's unlocked by entering the elven ruins in the Brecilian Forest, and doing a small side quest involving an altar and a soul gem. Check the Dragon Age Wiki if you need more help, it is (mostly) accurate.
There are one or two things the Wiki doesn't cover, which is where my videos come in. =)

No hurry to unlock the specialisations. You can start picking them for your character at levels 7 and 14, but there is no penalty for waiting until later on, e.g. level 20, before picking them. And the Dragon Age Wiki does have this information - the Spirit Healer tome is available in Denerim, in the Wonders of Thedas shop.
What equipment were you using for this fight? Im unsure of what armour i should wear, ive tried juggernaught and Blood dragon armour, but i find that im getting hit too much, i missed the chance to get the dragon bone, so that armour is out of the question. What gear do you reccommend?

Fire-resistant gear is essential if you want to prep specifically for this fight alone. You did beat the High Dragon to get the dragon scale for Wade, right?

Whatever armor you forged using that dragon scale will do. If not, see the text I put up here - use Shale to tank, or stay at long range and bombard Flemeth with spell bolts and arrows, using Health Poultices to survive. Having a mage or two with Healing spells makes this fight quite easy, actually, especially if you do pause the game to issue orders. Don't do it my (no-pausing) style; you really need to be very familiar with game mechanics+tactics to play without pausing.

Skills: maxed out Combat training, that was about it. As for talents, you can see them all on the quickbar at the bottom of the screen:
- maxed out the Healing tree
- maxed out the Mind Blast tree
- maxed out the Spirit Healer's talents
- maxed out the Arcane Warrior talents
- maxed out the basic Mage talents
- all sustainables (Rock Armor, Miasma, Spell Shield, etc.) as shown in the video
- Glyph of Repulsion and Glyph of Paralysis
