think about what you're saying. "it may have been refuted time and time again" which would mean that the proposition has been shown to false, therefore it would either entail that it was defeated on historical grounds, or that a recount of history was not even necessary because it was faulty on some other count. either way, if the proposition is defeated, no other kind of argument is needed.

In fact the Bible is clear to warn us of those who worship the Sun, Moon ectIf U believe in Arianism, Why is it that there are only a few writings of it that don't follow the oldest writings of Hebrew, Aramaic & Greek? The earliest manuscripts even defeat Ray. I am telling U my friend, The Council had Nothing to do with the Text! The Bible is clear on how Jesus/Esuas looked, White wooly hair Skin of brass, so this alone defeats his claim.The statue is named "Sarapis Zaparrus" Not Sarapis Christus!The so called image of Jesus today is of "Ceasare Borgise".Pastor Ray has not presented any so called manuscript to prove his case & this is what I want to see. Dr. Hagin, as you know people believe in Jesus so that we may have our sins forgivin; and have eternal life. who else offers such a wonderful deal. If one gives up on the hope of jesus and risk having their soul go to hell; what incentive do you offer to motivate people to take that leap of faith to what you are teaching?

your wrong brother, cornelius tacitus consider the greatses roman historian, lived apx. 55-122 speaks of jesus being being handed over by pontus pilate to be crusified. he mentions how jesus started teaching in judea, and how later his teachings spread to rome. there are hundreds of historical references to jesus from the 1st and second century.

Rjohnson, what source are you citing for the historian known as Cornelius Tacitus that he talked about Jesus as a historical figure and what source was he citing that talked about this. You'll find that he was probably talking about the Bible. The historians that actually talked about Jesus The Christ and not just Christ because there were many figures called Christ, usually site the Bible as the source and the Bible is not history. It's mythology just like other religious doctrine.

James the Bro of Jesus died 62 AD

When these historians talked about Iesus Christos (He wasn't called Jesus until around 1600 AD because the letter "J" wasn't created until then)what did they say about him and what source were they citing. Most likely they were all citing the Bible. They can't cite historical events because Jesus the Christ never historically existed.

mjrob1914 the original greek text dates back to 60-100 AD after ee-soous was cricified. Iesous was translated as Jesus so we could pronounce his name. I am from Magyarország with your american pallet you cant pronounce it, so in english we are called Hungarian! James jesus's bro is actually yakob, or Jacob. Plenty of historical evidence exists about him, read some schollars like Robert Eisenman, If you have chosen not to accept any of the bible as Historical then we cant go anywhere with this

Sure they made reference to Jesus. Some only made reference to Christ but didn't state Jesus. Christ is a title and not a name. People reference Santa Claus but does that mean that he exists. What evidence besides the Bible, which is mythology, were they citing to the existence of Jesus the Christ.
