  • actually i dont remember if the yj's were called wranglers or not

  • @rovater they were. The First model the "Wrangler" line was produced.

  • wrangler? with leaf springs? gtfo lol

  • @rovater smh LOL. Yeah, that's how they were first produced... Coils didnt come around til '97

  • @sixtiesforever1966 what rubi, which video u talking about.

  • thts amazing how easy you can do tht stuff!!!!!!

  • @raptor660rful Miss that jeep and it wasnt even mine lol.

  • Who makes those Shackles in the rear?? Thanks.

  • @MrDirtySouthCantina They are custom made by a shop called brutal off road, In lake hills texas. His name is james i do believe give him a call, might be able to make you something if your looking for some. Note: Double shackles are great or flexing and slow crawling, horriable for high speed and when getting up on it up hills, you will get rear wheel hoop like crazy, But it the price you pay for running a shackle like that. Another type of shackle like that is called the revolver shackle.

  • Nice jeep!! Liking the snow camo job on it. Flexes pretty hard!!

  • @dkhill27 Wish we still had it to wheel, it belongs to my cuzin. Got me a rock crawling in my profile and video's called skull crusher, check it out if you would like. it a 87 gmc jimmy.

keep on rockin bro, thanks for stopin by.

    Merry x-mass to ya.

  • @dbzgt545 Yeah no doubt i will check it out. Yeah i know what you mean i had alot of good rigs and wish i still had the or my friends still had them. Lots of memories lol. I enjoy stopping by lots of good vids you got. Merry x-mas to you to bro!!

  • Maybe next time you'll get you a set of bead locks!! Nice vid an jeep

  • sweet!!

  • you're walking up that hill faster than the truck

  • Nice yj, love how you stuck to leaf, shackle,

  • Best Jeep evar!

  • That fella was gettin busy with it! :D

  • She's... Beautiful... *Sniff*...

  • OMG.!! what creature is this!!!????..I think it can go anywhere.:)

  • @afsalmpm That jeep diff could climb with the best of em man. it was wicked fun to ride and drive in.

  • reason why i wont to put a on board compressor under the hood on the jeep my dad got for my brother and i to drive to highschool.

  • I have got a 95 & want to do a SOA & a V8 upgrade... can you give me so ideas as to what I would need. I have already got a 3 1/2 suspension lift on it now & was wondering if I could just use those springs & get the brackets to do the lift or would that be 2much lift ? Any info would be great & helpful. Thanx

  • @MrScottyesh The best set up is Stock spring, or any kind of spring that is longer. Like my truck has 56" spring that flex like crazy. This jeep has Stock Rear Wrangler springs with a shacle flip out back and a extended bumper set up with a longer new shackle up front. Cut and trimed fenders front and rear. And a good set of tires, keeping it low and flexy is the key to a stable rock crawling rig. Also upgrading to onetons helps a ton but a jeep with dana 44 front and rear with 37" tires ROCKS.

  • are the just the stock d30/35 axles?

  • what breed is that, lol! but really sick jeep man

  • I like this video!!

  • I have a 74 cj5 and wanna do a rock crawler rig like u guyz got but havin no luck on what suspension stuff I need. Help. Nice vid ! Sweet rig !

  • @camaross92 No prob bro, ill send you a PM. With some infor on the springs and goodies lol.

  • Those tires are nice what are they?

  • @Burgataish They are my tire on my CRUSHER 87 gmc jimmy. Let my cuz use them for this day. They are 39.5 tsl biasply. Grooved with a custome patern with a groove gun. check out for my skull crusher for more vids of them.

  • have fun when it rollover

  • @truitons You have to be there and be drivin and have your own truck. to get your rig up a ledge and make it you dont relize how much your blood get pumpin, at any moment you can roll your rig. Its a challange and you not always just always going slow. If the sport of Rock crawling is sooo boring WHY IS A BIllion dallor market??

Alll i gotta say it get out there and find someone with a bad ass rig and go rock crawling homie. And if you wanna see the ultimate check out KING OF THE HAMMERS.

  • @dbzgt545 Dude - don't even grace that ass with a response. He's one of those ass wipes running around the trails at 90 MPH sounding like a mosquito on steroids.

I will say this though - out here in AZ we love to decorate our grills with their teeth. Lotsa blind corners ya know.

  • @dbzgt545 He's just jealous because his ricer can't do fun stuff like this...

  • @truitons Why do people ride roller coasters?

  • @truitons piss off loser, don't like it, don't watch it!

  • @truitons its actually alot more fun then browsing youtube.com for videos to trash talk...

  • @truitons I bet thats what your boyfriend thinks about you

  • @truitons stfu kid you obv never did this as the driver or a passenger so before you hate on our hobby try it your self and while your driving your lil toy car ill be driving over your

  • @truitons Ok if this isn't a sport then why look up it up??? YouTube has ice skating......you can look that up because im sure thats a real sport in your eyes, its fast has action and doesnt burn fuel

  • @truitons Wow really? If you dont like this hobby why are you even on this page commenting on the video. People do different things to have fun. So here is a tip keep your comments to yourself and go troll elsewhere. If you have never tried it or been with someone as they drive you have no right to comment like you did. Go back to sitting in your moms basement playing World of Warcraft and beating off to your sisters pictures.

  • @truitons

Until you actually drive offroading you have no idea.

Rock crawling isn't as thrilling as trail riding but it does take skill and guts

  • @truitons not really as mch as a sport, more like a hobby, a life style. i do it in my 4x4 4 door jeep grand cherokee, its actually really fucking fun!!! i wouldnt knok it on its ass unless uve tried it man, seriously

  • Please answer back! I'm going to start a build similar to this in the next year. What stall are you using in the trans and if I sent you my E-Mail could you send me pics of the shackles?

  • @calvinculpalt you dont want to put any kind of stall on a rocking crawling buggie that a stock engine. The lower it kicks in the better. now if you have a build engine i would say whatever they set up the power and torq RPM at. The shackles were build by brutal off road in lake hills texas. Look him up on the net.

  • DAMN THAT THING CAN FLEX!!!!!!!!! that's hardcore man!!

  • could some body stop them.. AWSOME!!

  • Motor bike, get there in half the time :P jks, love the car that's crazy

  • hey bud would you be able to send me some info on those shackles????????? send me a message and i will send you my e-mail... thanks bud....

  • what the heck kind of shackles are those??? are they just regular 2" lift shackles bolted together? i assume that lets you get more flex right??? that looks like a clever idea...

  • @dwdrums40385

they are kinda like revolver shackels, but custom designed ones. Only bad thing about doing a set up like that is you get alot of wheel hop out back when climbing ledges, other then that they flex like crazy and work great. Send me you email address and i can send you some more pics.

  • @dbzgt545 yeah, send me some more info, dwdrums40385@yahoo.com i don't care how many people see it, i got so much spam anyways. those shackles look pretty cool, and i can't afford $200 revolvers.

  • Jeeps are great mules! Stubborn.

  • @LIVEOFFROADbetter the only thing "Jeep" on this rig is the body

  • @alteredstateskustom

yeppers, that the best rig out there to build. Small and compact, light, and one tons with a 350 that the way to go man. =0)

  • @dbzgt545 true that dude!

  • @alteredstateskustom

Well, yeah, you ever seen what happens when you put Chevrolet power in a Jeep with stock running gears? I have...I'll upload the video of what happens here in just a second.

  • @bhunt31

let see her buddy, i would never run a 350 with a dana 44 front and rear. that crazy.

  • @dbzgt545

It's on my page, should be the first video. Red Jeep. Named "Another Jeep FAIL."

  • @bhunt31

Not my Jeep, mind you. Buddy of mine's, we all knew it was just a ticking time-bomb. I'm nervous about my Dana 44 in my 1/2 ton Ford. Working on getting Dana 60s this winter.

  • Big car, little nuts...

  • @redspur

you have a a big car with no nuts. dang maybe a supercharger or nos would help?? =0)

  • one more question, do you have drop shackles in the front too? i looked up brutal offroad and saw your jeep had a shackle reversal in the front and i didnt know if you could still use drops with that

  • @ripper3494

your mean front shackle, no they were relocated to the rear, They work alot better that way and actually allow the jeep to crawl better. When the spring compresses it actually moves the jeep wieght more forward for climb. the othere way push the jeeps weight back. Hope that answers your question.

  • @dbzgt545

BTW...The front axle is a high pinion 60, right? High on the front, low on the back?

  • what brand drop shackles are those? im plannin on gettin some and i really like those

  • @ripper3494 They were custom made by brutal off road in lake hills texas.

look him up, pretty sure he will make u some for a good price.

  • @dbzgt545 aight thanks, btw sick rig

  • Thats some sick nasty crawlin bro!

  • @bok666choy

yeppers my cuzin jeep could crawl nice man. i loved it.

  • yes yes...i think it can flex!! nice one mate!

  • @KTMDUKE666

    lol hel yeah...

  • Am I seeing double shackles in the back?

  • @slammo10 yeppers dont recomend them but they do flex like crazy man.

don't recomend them cuz you ass whill bouch around when you really trying to get up a ledge or hill. but for crawling and flexin they get the job done nice.

  • @dbzgt545 Makes sense. I think I'm gonna stick with coils for my TJ haha

  • @slammo10 yeppers if you got coils and are linked id stick with that man. YOUR ALOT BETTER OFF WITH FLEXING AND TRAIL RIDEING WITH THAT. these is a older jeep with leaf spring and onetons. Got the job done but a upgrade would have been 4linked and coil springs.

  • @dbzgt545 Yea, I got a 4 link in the rear on mine. Kept it a short arm though, just made it through the Rubicon too... with open diffs!

  • shit my jeep has body damage way more than yours and i dont need a body shop its mettal it pulls and smooths outi bet you i could do that trail with little to no problem

  • cool. Come down to SA one day and give it a shoot bro. =0)

I DIDN'T GET THE REAL HARD STUFF ON FILM. And video never does a trail justice.

check out my other videos with the buggies going threw this trail, it filmed alittle better. just type in cline ranch the body shop. peace out.

  • ya thats not level five come do the dokaota terratorry challenge cause level one on our trails makes that lok like baby shit

  • I'll tell you what, come down to texas. And make the trip to cline ranch and ill pay you 500 bucks if you make it up no assist, no winching. it took two 100,000 dollar buggies 1 1/2 to clim this trail, and barely making it up with. What on video really doest do it justice. Sorry not everyone and there mamma has tried this trail to show some proof. JUST GOTTA COME DOWN AND TRY IT.

  • 1 HOUR AND HALF TO CLIMB IT. Sorry typo. =0)

  • Sorry hate to say it man but you jeep with 35, and dana 30 or 35 axles would just cry trying to make the body shop, NOT INCLUDEING YOU JEEP WILL TAKE BODY DAMAGE.

please stop judging a trail you havn't been on guys. come one, we all know video never does a trail justice.

  • Shit, you call that a level 5? You must not have very good trails there. That looks easier than rubicon and rubicon is a highway compared to others i have been to.

  • Number one video never does a trail justice if you were smart you would relize.

Number two two tricked out buggies spent 3 hrs each on the one trail. loose texas hill country rock not solid rock is ten time diff. This triail is a crack threw two hills, and long can't put it all on film. check out my other vids for the buggies going threw this trail. Please dont come on my vids talk smack on trails you never actually wheeled on ok man.

  • PLUSE, iv seen stock jeep rubican run threw the rubican.???? that trail is nice and cool looking but not a imposible trail. Never would nice jeep coming rollin up to this trail called. THE BODY SHOP. Well let me take that back, it would take a crazy jeep dude to try it and he would be willing to take damage.

  • damn that lift shackle has a nice flex action 1:12 you can see it at rear of leaf springs.

  • great for flexing, but has ton of wheel hope when trying to climp a hill. It would be great in add a Bolt when needed.

  • gay

  • what axles you running?

  • driver drop dana 60 and 60 up front. 5.13 spool rear welded up front.

  • Is that a mono leaf?

  • nope i believe there are 4 up font and 3 out back. dont know the leght

  • thats badass.... now its time to put on coilovers and four link...... but for now very badass!!!!!! good job

  • diff would helped him do that. But the slacker sold it. But i was just supprised how good it flexed and crawled for having leaf springs.

  • oh yeah that was badass flex on those leafs.... to bad he sold it......

  • Leave springs can be pretty amazing and you can get hook up a ladder bar that's johnny jointed will help with wheel hop a lot (get rid of it) without limiting flex.

  • nice vid =D

  • your yj flexes like a twelve year old gymnast..lol real nice yj man check out mine

  • It was my cuzin, but he sold it. I drive the Crusher on my page check it out.

  • That heep just makes me smile brother.

  • me too =0)

  • Bad ass jeep bro!!! u should have kept the 49s, never seen anything like it!!

  • dude i wish we coulda flex with it then we woulda kept the 49" lol

  • oh my god, this is a fu**ing awesome rig!

    and some great driving skillz!

would love to see it live!

    great! 5/5 stars

  • so why is it painted like a cow?

  • Hmmm the pevious owner named it Mad Cow =0)~ lol He was a pretty cool dude.

  • ah well sweet rig man, but those iroks you put on it later are a little overdone. lol.

  • lol yeah that was just fun to see if they fit. We just borrowed them to see . =0) buddy was saleing them and we decided to put them on for a day.

  • im new to climbing but at 1:17 r those custom mounts or can u buy them. they look like they give u more movement than just mounting the leaf springs to the frame but im not sore

  • its kinda like a revolver shackler type that in google to check it out. But its a custome set up. But it has alot of wheel hop when climbing hill so it has it down fall. For a lift it have Longer spring and custome front spring mounts.

  • what differentials you have under there? Ford f350? or 14 bolt rear or what? lol looks nice> I just bougth a set of F350 axels for my grand cherokee im planning on putting 37's FOR NOW HAHAHAH

  • ford dana 60's front and rear and a chevy 350tbi, 700r4 np241 Transfer case =0).

All AMERICAN BABY LOL. =0) THANKS

  • nice rig dude, like the flat fenders

  • Thanks belongs to my cuz.

  • I know Ktemcy is closing, that's sad! The club is making a Memorial Day weekend run out there. I jsut wish I had one of my own, we don't have many chick drivers but I plan to add to that soon! haha. cool, I'll check it. we're usually out in East Texas - Gilmer. and Lipan is Fort Worth ish area. it's a blast!

  • Where is Cline's Ranch? I saw these videos on Craigslist [my dad and I are looking for a Jeep] and the 4x4 club I'm in would love to know of any wheeling spots we can head out to!

  • Yeppers my cuz sold the jeep, =0) we only had it for about 5m. We off road around texas, cline ranch, boulder creek, and katemcy <--- but its is closin down.

We also go the baja races in austin check out my austin 200 vid.

owe cline ranch is right next to medina lake. google is it should come up bro.

  • lol no land rover could ever do that.

  • nope, but they are nice Rigs for getting some gorcerys and doing some trailing rideing and looking PIMP. lol

  • lol very true way more cargo room then jeeps! also good for going up dirt drive ways.

  • cool!

  • Great video. Shows some tough, real world, situations (and the need for a good spotter!)

  • yeah that dude new the corse good.

  • Nice rig. Great spot and a cool vid too guys. Interesting front bumper setup. Is it a custom fabrication? How come no bead locks on a build up like that?

  • Built by brutal off-road here in san antonio TX. My cuz just bought it, bead locks are in the works =0) plus some 42" iroks or pit bull rockers. Thanks for the comment buddy, i'll get more vid of it with bead locks and gonna try a trail called the imposible. lol

  • sweet... I'm from Texas too.

  • sweet vid.......

  • nice jeep. good job on the build.

  • Brutal off-road in TEXAS set it up
