  • Yes, but I'm still puzzled at how he managed to pull off the Kirkland thing. Hundreds witnessed all different sorts of spiritual visions at the opening of that temple. Threre were plenty of others that also claim seeing visions that were associated with JS. Hows does he do it?

  • @MrMFHORN Consider: “The great heavenly ‘visitation,’ which was alleged to have taken place in the temple at Kirtland, was a grand fizzle. The elders were assembled on the appointed day, which was promised would be a veritable day of Pentecost, but there was no visitation. . . . . ‘I was in my seat on that occasion, ‘and I know that the story sensationally circulated, and which is now on the records of the Utah Mormons as an actual happening, was nothing but a trumped up yarn...” David Whitmer

  • @MrMFHORN Other accounts conflict: "In the evening, they met for the endowment. The fast was then broken by eating light wheat bread, and drinking as much wine as they saw proper. Smith knew well how to infuse the spirit which they expected to receive; so he encouraged the brethren to drink freely, telling them that the wine was consecrated, and would not make them drunk.....they began to prophecy, pronounce blessings upon their friends, and curses on their enemies. . . . " William Harris

  • I love this, being an exmormon who has come to the true Jesus of the Bible this falls in line with wBut even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse! Sadly true, I enjoy watching the church and FARMS try to explain themselves out of the corner they paint themselves in.

  • Jeremiah 14; 14 Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

The Bom IS a false vision and a delusion .

  • Galatians 1 6 -7. I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ.

This sums up the BOM. Its a different gospel, which should be ignored.

  • Ahh mormons American's favorite cult...... Don't capitilize mormon ever that means its a name....

  • LOL!! This is awesome dude! I laughed my ass off because this is sadly the truth about Mormonism. I just wish that Mormons would wake up to their sugar coated reality and accept Jesus into their lives and turn to the Cross. Thank you for sharing the truth even if JS looks like a lego

  • @szabo56 It's happening one heart at a time. Thanks for the comments. PS: The lego was the only one available who could do the gig.

  • and taken out of context I might add

  • Too bad these aren't his own words but paraphrases mixed with made up insertions

  • @poosetifer Feel free to point out any inaccuracies in substance, if you believe there are any. The purpose with this video was to promote honest inquiry and consideration beyond the sunshine and lollipops portrayals of JS by the LDS church (nothing wrong with considering that too - but its not the whole story either). This was not the medium for a dispositive historic portrayal with long exact quotations. If it helps to promote a closer look at a much bigger picture, then mission accomplished.

  • @Doesthetruthmatter u were spot on sirn

  • Beware of false prophets dressed in self righteousness who demand 10% of your money. Buyers, beware of Mormon priesthood trickery.

  • im a jew and when i watch this i still say wow what a f-u-k

  • wow... just, wow. talk about a big ego. i can't believe people followed this guy.

  • What's the Taj Mahal got to do with it?

  • @probro9898 Great question. The reason is related to Joseph's statement that he would be a second Muhammad and the interesting parallels between Joseph Smith and Muhammad. I wanted to have it be a Mosque . . . the closest I could find was the Taj Mahal. The scene is intended to illustrate the irony of an alleged Prophet, who is also a military general, a politician - and who attempts to establish a theocracy. The purpose is to provoke thoughtful consideration - not to ridicule.

  • @Doesthetruthmatter that is assuming that Muslims did not form a legitimate religion. I mean there's no indisputable proof of the legitimacy of any religion but mormons have a particularly rediculous religion and you shouldn't insult the muslims to make that point.

  • @veryhighsamurai No intent to insult the Muslims here. The intent here is primarily to promote honest inquiry about the man who claimed to be God's own mouthpiece and who claimed to establish the one and only true church on earth - it's really not intended to insult Mormons either.

  • this is a joke right? Jesus never spoke to "Joseph Smith". He found a gold tablet and now he is God's prophet? Where in The Bible does it say Joseph Smith is His prophet! All Mr. Smith did was start a cult! and wait did i just hear him say no one passes through the gates of heaven without him saying it was okay? NO. My dad was mormon until he met my mom and they came to his house and called her a Slut and told him she was taking him away from God. Her dad was a baptist army chaplain. true story.

  • @BellyButtonMonsters Sorry to hear about you family's bad experience. No joke. These are the JS claims. The only place where you will find in a bible that Joseph Smith is God's prophet is in the Joseph Smith Translation (The Inspired Version -JST). In the JST, Joseph rewrote Genesis 50:24-26 and then added 6 completely new verses that were non-existent in the bible. There in the JST, Joseph Smith is wrote into the bible "a seer will I raise up . . . and his name shall be called Joseph . . . "

  • @BellyButtonMonsters Who called your mother that?

  • i dont get how this man has more power than jesus christ , why would god give more responsibiality to a man that wasnt his son , for example it would be ike a king that desides to give all of his possessions and power to a servent .

  • Oh, yes it is,not a joke.

  • The content is all true (paraphrased quotes - but all verifiable) - though the absurdity may make it seem like a joke.

  • is this a real mormon video or just a joke?

  • well done! I just subscribed to you based on this video. Keep up the great work!

  • Very good! Thank you. The Truth is marching on!
