Hmmm..... I'd love to know how this sounds like with strings. But dude ! .... I didn't hear a melody I could remember. It sounded more like improv - a little bach style.

I'm *so* glad you said Bach improv. The Tempo rubato was put in specifically for that effect- and it is indeed counterpoint. Full marks :P
