Captain Planet was one of my favorite shows. Sure, it was a bit corny but they did teach some environmental lessons and I personally thought the blue hero rocked. I'm definitely going to re-watch this series, I haven't watched it in like forever. I remember when I was in class, some fellow students showed our hippy-esq teacher the intro to the show (she never heard of it) and I remember her being all ecstatic and overjoyed and claimed him to be a "hippie superhero". lol
