i got my maple usa strat neck refretted and compound radius. its 9:5 at nut working down to 12 inch at the 12th fret and 14 inch from 15th fret to last one. i also used 6105 frets tall and narrow. and had a tint laquer gloss on neck and headstock just a light tint like the 2008 updates usa strat. neck is now exc and amazing to play.
It looks that way now, but things could change suddenly.
I plan on explaining how I do a compound radius, as well as why I don't want to for this particular job once the voting is closed and I begin the actual work on the neck.
The radius beams I have are listed on the right, those are really the only radii I'm setup to prep for. 430mm is standard Ibanez Wizard II right, the closest I have to that is the 16". Is that what you want to vote for?
Jason, I have no idea what the hell you are talking about, but it sounds interesting non the less. Also, in the months I have known you......I do not think I have heard you cuss. Maybe, it's because I swear like a sailor...hmmmm
Personally, I agree with the 12" radius. It's not so flat to the point of being uncomfortable for chording, but is flat enough to allow some great bending at a pretty low string height.

12" is the WINNER! Look for a new video soon detailing the conversion of this 9.5" radius to a 12" as well as the next item you'll be voting for.

I'll discuss the fretwire once the voting is over for the fingerboard radius and I make the video showing the fingerboard leveling procedure.

Who's fun... yours or mine?

Mine, it would be educational to see it done. Although I think the 12"'ers are gonna win the vote
