  • What a impressive recipe!

In our way, Sesame oil is used on the last time before serve to keep its taste and smell :-)

Anyway, this video makes me hungry! I should to cook Kimchi bokkeumbap right now!

    Hello From Korea :-D :-D

  • you are creative.

  • awesome haha. i'll try this after thanksgiving ;) thanks!

  • I love your recipe. I will try this at home.

  • Might want to try putting the sesame seed oil toward the end to preserve its flavor and fragrance. A little twist of lemon or lime also improves it as it kills any meat odor from left overs. I tried this dish with a can of Tuna. It also quite delish.

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • looking sooo good. thanks

  • I always enjoy over-fermented kichi for my 볶음밥~ ^^

  • Nice..I'm actually eating Kimchi Fried Rice of my own and watching this.

  • I am hungry~~

I should make some, or ask my mom to make some tomorrow. Except since we grew up eating spicy food (ex. 김치, 떡볶이), we love to add a lot of the juice from kimchi to ours (instead of 고주장), and its reallly orange once its all mixed together. Its verrry delicious! ^^

  • ohh Looks so yummy~~ ^^

  • i know a lot of asian food use fish sauce in food for saltiness. Does korean food use fish sauce?

  • Fish sauce? Not very often. Koreans do eat a lot of seafood, though. Traditional kimchi recipes use shrimp paste, as well.

  • oh ok. I was just wondering because many fried rice recipe's(authentic ones anyways) call for fish sauce, but I guess shrimp paste is the same concept.

I was just wondering. I've never had kimchi fried rice before but I'm gonna give it a shot.

  • why do you put gochujang in kimchi fried rice

  • Because the kimchi I was using didn't have enough sauce by itself.

  • ziet er goed uit!!

  • ziet er goed uit!!

  • yummy food, yummy looking girl :)

  • Where do you get a mild kind of Kimchi in the U.S.? It looks really good to me....but it seems like all kimchi is hotter than a pistol!!!

  • There's a brand called King's. They sell it at Safeway and Raleys grocery stores in the USA. Walmarts which have grocery stores also may stock it as well. King's sell mild and spicy kimchi. If the stuff at your local Korean restaurant is still too spicy, you can rinse it off a bit to calm down the heat as well.

  • Looks interesting and tasty :) Looking forward to your next video!

  • the sauce is pei yong joon go sh ong. lmao

  • Huh?

  • almost at the end of the video. u said u can buy these sauce at any local grocery shop, pei yong joon go sh ong saunce lol.

  • Bae Yong Joon gochujang?! I'd try that! LOL!

  • is that what the sauce really calls? or u named it urself lol.

  • That's what it's really called. LOL!

  • lmao.. wow.

  • There's no BYJ brand gochujang sauce...for now. Maybe we should make one! LOL!

  • Happy New Year. No one knows "everything" about Korea. As far as Kpop is concerned, I'm familar with Seven, Rain, Ryu, Super Junior, Wonder Girls, Dong Bang Shin Ki (TVXQ).

  • OMG, I wish u were my friend gish i'm dieing 2 meet Super junior my parents said i can dis summer but not sure -__-*

  • Hello Tamar, your cooking demonstration is

very interesting, Kimch Pizza and Kimch

Bokumbap. You're so creative and I attempt

to make it some day. The music is awsome, too! Thank you for sharing with us....

    Love, Patty

  • In Denmark we call this for "bikse mad". But it was inspiring looking at the prepration of the dish. I experienced that Koreans use Kimchi not just as a side dish. My favorite is kimchi omelet ( eggs with fried kimchi ). I will try to make this dish. I always give the left overs to the wild cat ( his/her name is Kitty ). I do not know about Kitty, but she/he is not discerning.

  • Amazing! I loooove kimchi bokumbap! And what a convenient way to make it with Turkey leftovers. I'm sure it tastes just as wonderfl with turkey as it does with beef or antyhing else.

Thank you for your uploads, and thank you for promoting the rick cuisine of my people in such a positive light!

  • I have nothing but good things to say about my life in Korea.
