Thanks! Some parts didn't have a native counter part in the lgeo library (This is a collection of lego bricks natively designed for the renderer POVRay). The converter l3p can translate LDraw data (Bricksmith) using this special lgeo lib. but if there are parts that are not in there it simply converts only the wireframe from the LDraw library. It seems like the normals (3D information necessary for curved surfaces) get lost in translation. This way it's more digital TRONlike :-)
Hey there! The Recognizer "smiles" in the movie too. Just a little more sinister and evil. Check out the screen shot on my flickr page. Just go to flickr.com and search for "Recognizer_Smile". The front opening is the mouth, the alcoven for the people are the teeth. The eyes are there two, but mine have a slightly different shape.
@Drspeedstackingguy Hey! Glad you like my stuff! I looked into uploading it to the LDD gallery, but since my model depicts a popular design within a certain franchise it will not make it through the moderation process. I'm thinking about putting up a website where I will provide the .lxf files for download.
Hey Again! Guess what?!?! The website is online! Go to w w w . t r o n l e g o c y . c o m and download the Digital Designer LXF files of my model! Have fun! And tell me if you know someone who actually has enough bricks to build it.
@Drspeedstackingguy Hey again too! :-) Don't quite understand what you mean. You can "upload" your own designs to LEGOⓇ by using their LDD software. On my website it is unfortunately not possible to upload stuff. I'm only providing my models for "download". If you need further help, please formulate your question more specific and I'll be glad to hellp if I can.

Great design! I noticed that you didn't use any subdivision on the curved shapes. Was this to save on render time?

I made one for real, but it doesn't even come close to this.
5 stars... oh, YouTube doesn't do that anymore...
