Jimbob-- it is curious to us who are not amputees, there is a small percentage who will look at this as fetish; but to me it became clear-- this is a celebration of who we are as humans. Many in the world have and will suffer loss of limb. If you lived in a place where violence is rampant and injury frequent (Israel) you would want to know how to survive the emotional difficulty of injury. This is one way.
