Heer Ranjha is one of my favourite Sridevi movies. Nobody but she could be the Heer. She was perfect and as Hali says, she was shining throughout the movie.

Im not a fan of remaking classics but the thing is that Anil kapoor is miscasted. I think Sri was the perfect choice for Heer but for Ranjha I cant really think of anyone else playing him.
