She's right in this video and in many of her videos where her primary theme seems to be, share as little as possible.I think it's a shame that people feel that they need to hide, so that others won't be able to find ways to attack them.For me personally, I will talk about my personal life, I just won't share my opinions about things.That's the part that usually gets me into trouble with back stabbers.Usually I don't even talk about my personally life. I just say good morning and talk small talk.

I would much rather be open and honest with the people around me. I would rather make myself vulnerable and build meaningful connections with everyone in my workplace. My social network is richer for it and if someone tries to talk shit about me in the workplace they are not going to get very far because Im the guy everyone loves and trusts.

I agree with a lot of these videos. There are none of the usual cliched answered that have no connection with reality. I would say though that sometimes it's very difficult to not disclose a few things about yourself, especially if someone puts you on the spot and over time as well it's inevitable you're going to reveal a few things.

I'm I the only one who sees how cold this advice is? However,the only reason is people don't know how to be social anymore and are so self-centered and soft that the work place becomes toxic. Yet they're the same losers that complain about the bad work environment they themselves created. If your coworkers can't cope on being human at work,then either out perform them out of the job or gracefully move to another job not so full of losers. Are there exceptions? Yes,use common sense.

I agree totally. Even if you don't say anything, people make stuff up. Also, keep your personal friends away. This can be hard especially if you had to move to a new area to find work.  Your lonely and want to open up.

I am a psychologist and I think she says "a viewer wants to know" and then goes on and rants about her own frustrations on the video. Its her way to vent and project her frustrations in life.

There is no Viewer wanting to know anything, just her, her camera, her you tube account, and her frustrations.

@agenthelios What are you talking about? People do ask questions, if you saw her page you'd see that. You'll also see that she is a life coach and an author.

I find her videos quite helpful, and others do to.

@101feven101 EXACTLY. I find that her videos are quite helpful when there are times that I have questions on my mind that I wouldn't take the time to ask people around me or post it on a web forum. So whenever she uploads videos like these and make it seem like these are questions thought of by anybody, it makes me feel like she's giving advice to me. I don't see what's so bad if it's just some "viewer". Anybody could wonder what to do about any given situation and her opinions are quite valid.
