  • what song were they playing in the video? becasue theyre obviously not matching

  • How the West Was Won changed my life

  • This makes me have 10,000 orgasms!

  • what a awesome guitar solo!

  • This is an amazing cover

  • VENEREAL POWEEEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "PARTY"!!!!!

  • @rocknrollforever10 you haveta' wonder what kind of person make's a decision like that.

    . - FAIL (is right !).

  • Happy birthday George C.

  • Awesome! *boogies* :)

  • Now I could under stand there being alot of Yardbird extras but there isnt for Led Zep, why is that?

  • This was Wanda Jackson's hit..the Rock-a Billy singer

  • @kittensaustin yes indeed and Elvis had a hit with this in the UK (peaked at #2) from the movie Loving You.

  • This is great, but i really prefer Paul Mccartney's version =)

  • Isn't that what I said my fellow Blimp friend? I never mentioned 1973. I did see them play live in 1977 three times and did see Jimmy wearing white for most of the 77 tour. The 75 tour he wore mainly black including the intro of the dragon suit. The tours previous to those he mainly wore embroidery in jeans. Thanks for commenting because Zeppelin history was always my favorite subject. Check out my collection {part 1} in my YT video. Its a shaky recording but I tried to get the message through.

  • yeeeaaahhh jimmy!

  • Great job on video!

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Great edit at 0:45!

  • Nice editing job. You nailed the vocals and drums a few times. Also some nice slow motion and Jimmy guitar leads. But did they do Lets Have A Party at Earls Court in 75? .

  • @Paneeks1960 that IS Earls Court 1975! The Dragon outfit didn't EXIST in 1973.

  • @cjo2112 I know see what you are saying about the video. It states "Southhampton 1973" at the start of the video. I believe the person who posted this was saying that "the music is from the Southhampton show" and the video portion is from Earls Court in 1975. That is what you were referring to when you made the comment about 1973. I get it now, sorry for rambling on.

  • I love this video, thank you!

  • They flipped it to A Clasic Rock song Very well!!!

  • man this video is pretty well made, fuckin syncs up perfectly..

  • it sounds like what was on htwww

  • Haha, nice editing!

  • :45 epic split kick

  • Jimmy you're the sexiest man i've ever seen.

  • That is some good sound from a bootleg. Maybe a soundboard?

  • 8 sucks

  • awesome send that a birthday wish on fb,,,thanks! love it!!!! so did they!

  • GREAT SONG WRITEN BY JESSIE MAE ROBINSON AN AFRICAN AMERICAN SONG WRITER in 1957.

  • What key is this song in someone???????

  • @henrytdsimmons i believe E

  • @TasOMW Yeah, it works.

  • nice recording but you didnt have to do a complication of footage from earls court...

  • @Klumpmeister compilation...theres no fucking complication

  • From Whole lotta love medley? Awsome!

  • Fake !

  • too cool knew a guy once who had a copy of the bbc bootleg master tapes

  • I saw Led Zep in 1972. The Elvis song that night was "A Mess of Blues".

EP and Robert Plant were quite close pals.

  • Like? If heaven exists.....

  • Cool edit

  • The gay version.

  • The gay version.

  • good fake but the guys below is right

  • I read a Rolling Stone Article where Robert Plant talked about meeting Elvis and the two sung "Love Me" Say what you want about Elvis...but a great influence to have if your a singer...he put a lot of feeling in his music.

  • ahhh.. I'm a massive zepp AND elvis fan, but I gotta say, this don't TOUCH the kings version. Nice try though, just don't think the marshall gain does this song any favours.

  • Good editing of the video to match the song.

  • fake video

  • @cesconetto read the motherfucking description. it's not motherfuckin fake its from tstrs whereas the audio is a bootleg

  • AWSOME,Led Zeppelin rock at doing Elvis covers

  • me declaro fan de Elvis, pero esta version me gusta mas...que se eleve por siempre el globo de plomo...

  • q viva page carajooo!

    el mas grande !

  • Zeppelin, could and can play anything from any where and from any one and make it sound awesome, some people say that the beatles or the stones are the biggest band of all time ( I say Zeppelin is) but LZ is no doubt the most talented of all

  • I'm always amazed at how Zeppelin can take someone else's song and play it and you would've thought the whole time it was theirs to begin with. Great chemistry to back up superb talent.

  • haha man I gotta get that album again

  • I know I had it on my old iPod cuz it had a different library but it broke, I was pissed I listened to that concert over and over the 24 minute version of Whole Lotta Love was the best

  • This song was recorded by ELVIS PRESLEY Led Zep was the biggest ELVIS fans..they all loved Elvis...

  • First time hearing this song, and I'm in love.

  • one of their concerts they played this with Mary Lou and it was AMAZING

  • its all on the live album "How The West Was Won"

whole lotta love is 23 minutes

    great album

  • @brmoogma would be fake and Bullshit, but the music is beautiful

  • That's them singing, there's just no video of it.

  • He gave credit to the video in the beginning.

  • I don't think that we are referring to the same conflict..I was clearing up the matter in witch the Pro shot video was in fact Earls court...Yes the Audio was from 73...South Hampton< I'listen to it again...I have the original silvers...one of my favorites from the 73 era...hamburg and Liverpool are also fantastic...South Hampton :) thanks for lighting a fire under my seat!!!!!

  • The song is GREAT.

But this video, if you pay an attention, is FAKE!!!!!

  • No, it is most assuredly not fake, simply rare footage from what appears to be one of their nights at Earl's Court in May of 1975. Zeppelin video is far and few between.

  • This is absolutely Not authentic 75 footage from earls court...I have over 1000 units of official and bootleg material to date. Simply this is a staple 73 performance during the Whole Lotta Love medley.

"Shake one time for Elvis! All RIGHT!!!!!!

  • Sorry mate....The pro video is From earls court...There is no doubt about that...But the audio is 73...the original bootleg was called "April fools day "( April 1st 1973 Paris) For many years there was large dispute that was finally put to rest by DAVID LEWIS.....The gig is from Hamburg same leg of the tour...One of my favorites! If you need any info....I'm the go to guy!

    Cheers

    Cheers

  • Audio is from Southhampton 1973...I created the vid. I have the whole concert and I don't think Plant would refer to Southanpton all night if he were in Paris.

  • @ChristellaKury Anyhow, I never was able to understand disputes about SUCH details. They felt good, I still enjoy listening to them 37 years later... well, who cares then?

  • @dc307477 you can tell how hes singing too from the voice of 1973 his voice fucked in 75

  • @dc307477

Hey dude do you know where I can get Listen to this Eddie? Or, this concert? I have some rare ones, too. Live on Blueberry Hill is great!!

  • Comment removed

  • noone can outdo led zeppelin

  • i can with my mind! i can use the force and just do it up

  • I could not have said it better....no one could....Sorry for giving a thumbs down..OOPS my bad...cheers

  • why do this-this ?

  • Classic. Period.

  • Think this actually is in the middle of Whole lotta love. Not uncommon that they did some Elvis songs in that song.

  • No doubt Robert Plant plays one mean air guitar.

  • talk about an Elvis infleunce!

  • damn jimmy can jump high with a guitar 0:45

  • dude... Jimmy is God, he can jump and more...

  • What? The video doen't line up, FAKE! Lol naw, jk no one but Page could play like that, no one but Bonham could drum like that, and Plant is unmistakable. I can't actually make out Jonsey, but I'm sure he killed too.

  • Zeppelin is the best band ever... R.I.P JOHN BONHAM

  • i didnt even know it was a different video (:

    good edit

  • jimmy is so great.

  • Supurb video synching to this amazing video. There is also another great video clip of this song from Australia at the end of {I believe} the 1972 Tour. Its one of the outdoor shows that Zeppelin did that was captured live on Australian television. But again, great job with this one. It must have taken you a long time to do it.

    Rob/Boston

  • eu quero pra baixar ;\\

  • Southampton 73

  • Awesome! :D

  • this song hates you. and so do I.

  • i hate u

  • great video syncing

  • yeah, sweet attention to detail! This will fool quite a few people. I had my E.C videos b4 the DVD came out, so I recognize the video source. Nice 1.

  • This cover is on their "How The West Was Won" Live cd set.

These guys on one of the only bands whose covers are better than the originals.

They truly were the best by far.

  • It Zep performing it. However, its being played over another song

  • duh..haha It kinda looks real

  • If you can't tell that this is them, you don't know zeppelin. It's a different video to a different audio. Moron.

  • What he said

  • Great a New Zeppelin tune!

  • lol? its not a new zeppelin song, its not their song..

  • it's Elvis. Plant was a big Elvis fan.

  • Eddie Cochran

  • fuckin awesome

  • Love this one! They should rerelease it on whatever CD they remake/create next!

    Really cool-never heard it before.

    COME TOUR ZEP!

  • this song is not from Elvis

and wanda jackson hit the song

    its from leiber

  • Jessie Mae Robinson wrote it...

  • great elvis song

  • ...I thought it was by some woman..

  • i agree. led zeppelin is perfection in almost every way.

  • excellent video editing !

  • Mick Taylor and Randy Rhodes are also up there! Taylor wasn't all that flamboyant, but the dude could play. Randy "Revelation Mother Earth", also top notch in my book!

  • Thats a stupid arguement. Zep has always been my band, but ACDC has definately earned their place in history. Rarely do you ever have 4 of the most gifted musicians in 1 group like you do with Zep. Maybe Rush or Cream, but even they didn't strike a chord with the huge # of people that Zep did, AND STILL DOES', and Zeps been gone almost 30 yrs. Think about that! PS, I know Rush/Cream r 3 piece

  • thank u

  • Saw your page. Very Cool. That is great criteria on being a "Real" Zep fan! The only one I wasn't sure of was why they started the "Swan Song" label. Ahmet sold Atlantic to Warner Bros? They also had trouble with some album covers, namely Zep 1V. Like you, at your age I was a hard core fan, never bought into the new wave crap at the time, and had my hair 1/2 way down my back. My buddies and I saw The Song Remains at the midnight movies over 80 times between 1981-1986. Awesome at the theater!

  • Great production

  • this is 1975

  • great!!! luv it!!!

  • One thing that doesn't get mentioned enough is Jimmy Pages stage moves. Much more style than say Angus Young. ACDC looks like a bunch of retards trying to hump a door knob.

  • did you get this line: bunch of retards trying to hump a door knob. from dodge ball?

  • shut up ac/dc rocks but i like zeppelin better but not much

  • No, ACDC sucks. Led Zeppelin is in a whole different league. ACDC never wrote acoustic folk songs and never travelled to get more worldly sounds. Page >>> Angus Young, Plant >>>> Bon Scott and the new guy that garggle sings. And Bonham and Jonesy go without saying.

Oh ya and ACDC is austrailian and we all know how that country sucks.

  • their 2 dxifferent bands with diferent music FUCK YOU there i just ended it

  • No this ends it- Led Zeppelin was easly capable of playing ACDCs mundane repetious style, while ACDC could never come close to emmulating led zeppelin's

    diversity.

  • stop wining like a bitch an grow up

  • nick52695 shouldn't you be on a ledge somewhere?

  • Do you watch Seinfeld?

  • not even a bootleg

its in the whole lotta love medley on HOW THE WEST WAS WON

  • you are incorrect...

  • same song, different recording. listen to both carefully

  • This was a recorded on the '73 tour. Funny thing is this guy uses '75 footage to go with the recording. Weird...

  • All U Zeppelin fans out there...realize this is an Elvis song that Robert always wanted to play. He and the group played this tune many times over the course of their being. We're gonna have a party to....niiiiiiight!!!!!!!!!! RIP J.H.B.

  • Dude i thought page always wanted to play this song.but who cares i love this song

  • Yeah, I think they both wanted some action on this one. Elvis influenced the whole band.

  • Elvis called them his evil nephews. Once when Zeppelin visited Elvis at the mansion, they all began to sit down after joking around in the darkened room; suddenly they heard desperate cries and epithets emanating from beneath the 350 pound Peter Grant. He accidentally sat on Elvis's father: Vernon. LOL.

  • You guys don't read the comments or you can't read at all. The original of this song was by Brenda Lee, Elvis did it in one of his (not very good, except the first 3) films. Elvis influenced Zeppelin? Elvis influenced everybody, he changed the world! And look at the childish idiotcy of some people: I've been given a -1 for saying where the Zeppelin name came from. Whoever that was: GROW UP! In the early 80s Plant, Page & Jeff Beck, did a record of 50s R&R covers under the name The Honeydrippers

  • Thanks for posting this. Once I had the 50s versions of this song by Brenda Lee (who was 16!) and Elvis. Zeppelin do it kinda slow, part of their Hard Rock - later called Heavy Metal - style. Still, what a gem! Great stuff!

I see comments about the Zeppelin name controversy. Von Zeppelin was the inventor of the first airship, used widely during WW1 before aiplanes, pictured on the first 2 Zeppelin albums. The famous crash & burn of the Zeppelin is an historical event. The "bitch" had a point...

  • i love plant voice

  • yayy led zeppelin is the greatest band of all TIME

  • What about jerry lee with jimmy page? There's any video available on youtube?

  • Not the ocean. They didnt play that at earls court it was rock and roll.
