  • really , only with the wind ? that's awesome^^

  • awsome!

  • I really like the absurdity of your construction!

  • fail

  • to keep the movement constant going, you have to make the as in three directions (i'm sorry 4 my broken english)

  • axis*

  • well done!!!

  • lool

  • cool, but you will need a tornado to make some miles...

  • A tornado would give it some miles, but the point is it reaches its destination in one piece.

  • neat but the wind is the force behind this thing so

  • great

  • great job

  • nice, maybe making a wooden or foamboard propeller just to make it ligthweight

  • This is already based off of something wooden, he or she is just showing it in a different perspective.

  • not bad... just needs more legs and a better gear ratio...=/

  • Loved how it slowely came alive

  • pretty cool

  • Whoa... you need a hurricane for moving that

  • sorry to ask but isn't the wind pushing it.. :) i mean it does walk but nudged

  • thats really neat... 5*

  • nice try :))

  • lol.. good comeback :D

  • thats great wow 5/5

  • thats amazing,, i wish i could build like that

  • very good dude how long did it take??

  • It's a great attempt, but unfortunatly leggos are too heavy to make this practical

TJ uses all light weight hollow materials so the force generated and converted by the wind is equal or greater than the weight of the item itself

  • I think it is however impressive that he got it miniaturized and working with heavier components.

  • this is true.

    much respect

  • all he needs is carbon fibre legos, then it should get going

  • Ha, can't even imagine how expensive that would be

  • Actually, the weight of the materials used is not important, see, in the Animus Rhinoceros, the creature weighed around 2 tons, which is very heavy, however, due to it's height, it actually captures enough energy to still move on it's own, as explained in the TED video

  • Yes.

  • cool!

  • Very cool. Just curious, if you don't mind saying, how much did that cost in Lego kits?

  • Cool!

    Nice idea!

  • thats a great attempt!

its not until you try and recreate one of his ideas that you realize how much work it involves, and what a brilliant mind TJ has

  • close...

  • Great!! :)

  • so funny how people assume all the lego things on youtube are kits

    good work

  • where do you get a kit like that?

  • No kit, hes just just remade a Theo Jansen wind sculpture

  • how is this spam

  • good job!

  • How much? I'll give ya £20 for the lot!

  • So cool.

  • use some WD40 holmes

  • You have to work much harder to get this ...

  • You should work much harder ...

  • if the legos were lighter it would be beter but nice try

  • very efficient

  • nice try ;)

  • Esta buenisimo
