@nystagmus No Doubt,..You're right!!,..But JR Rider took it to a whole new level, just like Kobe reintroducing it in 1997 then Vince Carter Took it even HIGHER,...Plus Orlando W was pretty tall so it didn't have the same effect.
@nystagmus Are you Kiddin' me?!?! I owned a Harold Miner Jersey!!! He was a freakin' awesome!!!Damn if it weren't for those knee injuries,...who would've known how great he would've been.
@mrlefty8 yes i am a huge harold miner fan even to this day. And harold is my favorite dunker and player - style wise. The dunks have progressed to a new level since 93" but his style was perfect! I have seen all these dudes do between the legs, etc, but i love harold's style. I still remember that left handed windmill dunk that swooshed threw the net. it was amazing. im not seeing anyone doing it better than him.
The 'East Bay Funky Dunk'. I remember when I saw that the first time. Kemp should have won, but Rider's dunk set the benchmark for every contest that would follow. Between the legs is so common now it's boring. Thanks for posting these awesome vids bro. It's good for an all-3 shooting whiteboy like me to dream. Big ups again. T23.
dunkers23 I'm 5 7 and I can do some crazy dunks. Truthfully, anyone can do it, just do the right workouts with the right nutrition. I personally recommend the training at "50inch vertical [dot] com" but any workout could be followed if you can check they generate results
yoyo dunkers23, if you {want|would like|wish|really want} to develop in basketball, you need to start {following|sticking with} #RANDSETa {real|actual|genuine|authentic|serious|proper|legit} # training system. dunkers23 I am simply a 5 6 white guy and I am able to dunk easily. Anyone can do it, just use the right workout. I personally used the one at |50 inch vertical [dot] com| but any workout is good if they work
dunkers23 dude, what else can I say. People who play basketball should all learn how to dunk, I just recently completed the training program at 50 inch vertical (dot) com - dunking is so easy now! (I m only 5 7!)
But Isiash just stole the show, that dunk changed the competition forever ! Since then Kobe, Vince, Richardson and more ALL did that dunk with variation !!!
Could you imagine if Vince, J-Rich, Iggy, Nate or Dwight would've did their dunks from this decade in 1994? People would've questioned their sanity lol "what the fuck just happened? Did that Iguodala guy just jump from behind the backboard?"

whats funny about this is allan houston was a pretty good nba player terrible dunker. and jr rider what more can you say great dunker waste of talent but he did get a ring with the lakers
now if only shawn kemp could have performed that well in the real games in the first round of the playoffs that year when they were had th best record in the entire nba and choked against the 8th seeded nuggets

Im still dissapointed Kemp never won a dunk contest. He just couldnt ever put it together from beginning to end. Look how hard that windmill is at 1:36. I read on the back of a card before that he used to make the chainlink net spark on the playground he dunked so hard.
i dont understand, i can do all these dunks. how come the dunk contest prior between jordan dunk contest and 2000 are all garbage? the dunks are easy.
