@IamaZionistGoy "There is no mention of jman by name or otherwise in the Tanach." Yes there is. Specifically & by name.
I am not going to share it with you though. You are not open right now, as can be seen by your attitude. I discuss all things with all people who are open & respectful. Anything less is a waste of time.
You will be successful at denying every single verse one brings to you, now & in the future, as long as you do not want to know.
@IamaZionistGoy The Tanakh did not foretell that Yeshua would "abrogate all the laws" & He most certainly did not do so.
He did not fail the 1st time & it *does say* He would come a 2nd time.
"In that day the Lord will *reach out his hand a second time* to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people..."-Isaiah11:11. "...so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation"-Hebrews9:28
@Genesis2Jesus yea however Genesis2Jesus that does not mean the person with that name is divine or is the creator. Im sure you remember Joshuah in the Tanakh. what Daniel? his name means "G-d my judge" ?
@KingOystar How are the Chrisitians and Jews going to ever come together. Are millions of Christians going to perish? Are millions of Jews going to perish? NO and NO G-d has a plan and that plan is restoration of the two houses that were broken. The Southern and Northern tribes/Mishpocha's must be united into the ONE house in Moshiach's hand. This will be a wonderful day. Hosea 1:10 Only G-d knows who they are.
Now listen, Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who are sitting in front of you—indeed they are men who are a *symbol*, for behold, I am going to bring in My servant the Branch....
Then say to him (Joshua), ‘Thus says YHVH of hosts, “Behold, a man *whose name is Branch* "
Maybe they Do know His Name but took it out to protect it. The NAME that they took out YHWH is the Moshiach's name cause He has always said that only HE HaShem will save to people. YOUR WRITTINGS state this case that I claim.
@putevireligije "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall *call His name* [qara' shem - proclaim/call his name/reputation/fame] Immanuel [God with us]." -Isaiah 7:14 That is exactly what happened. the Son/Yeshua was called God with us. He still is, and He has been ever since.
@Jimvesterstallone This is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word "HaAlma" it means "the young madian". It is also taken out of context. King Ahaz was asking HaShem for a sign that he would win the war. Isaiah pointed to the madian and said "the maidian is with child"
@KingOystar Some sign if it only meant a *young maiden* was going to have a child! This sign was supposed to be as "high as heaven or as low as Sheol". Now a *virgin having a child* is a sign as High as Heaven.
Nothing in scripture says Isaiah pointed to a maiden and said the maiden is with child, you are adding that bit to the story.
@boltingpuppies the Hebrew uses the term "HaAlma" if the word was virgin it would be "betulah" as im sure you realize these are very diffrent words. How would it be a reassurance to King Ahaz if the prophet was talking about an event that would mean everything would be ok? as for your claim that I am adding if you notice the Hebrew is in present tence meaning "The young woman is with child". Also a virgin birth is a pagan idea.
@KingOystar First of all, King Ahaz refused to take YHVH up on His offer and ask for a sign for *himself*--therefore-- YHVH Himself gave the sign, but never said it was for King Ahaz to witness, rather it was for "the House of David".
Also note: "Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;"
This wording, is written in the imperfect tense.
The imperfect is used to express the "future", referring not only to an action which is about to be accomplished but one which has not yet begun.
@boltingpuppies Yes. Women, young and old, have children every day. A young maiden having a child would not be a sign; it is commonplace. Now a virgin having a child...that is a sign.
@Jimvesterstallone well let me ask you somthing how could a what xtians think is a prophacy that happens approximitly 700 years later be a comfort for Ahaz?
@Jimvesterstallone The word "Almah" means young woman, not virgin. Nowhere in Isaiah does it say virgin. That was a clear mistranslation, and only one of the many mistranslations that the Christian Old Testament has. You can't read prophecy from the Christian Old Testament. Things can only be understood by reading the original Hebrew Text.
MOST importantly, is the fact that the Jews themselves interpreted this prophecy to be about a *literal virgin* giving birth. When the Jews of Alexander the Great's time were forced to translate their Hebrew scriptures to Greek *they* chose the Greek word *parthenos* which can ONLY mean virgin in Greek. Also, the Apostle, Matthew, said Mary became pregnant BEFORE she and Joseph came together and that Mary was with child 'of the Holy Spirit' (Matthew 1:18).
@boltingpuppies Almah means simply a young woman, of marriageable age, whether married or not, or a virgin or not; in a broad general sense exactly like girl or maid in English, when we say shop-girl, parlor-maid, bar-maid, without reference to or vouching for her technical virginity, which, in Hebrew, is always expressed by the word bethulah.
@boltingpuppies But in the Septuagint translation into Greek, the Hebrew almah was erroneously rendered into the Greek parthenos, virgin, with the definite article 'ha' in Hebrew, and e in Greek, (the), rendered into the indefinite "a" by later falsifying translators.
@paulgem123 That's true paulgem123. YHVH claimed that He alone is the Savior. He also said that no other God would be *formed* either before or after Him. This means that at some point inside of time, YHVH God became *formed*. The scriptures also say that there was no *strange God* among us, rather that it was *He*, YHVH.
Did you know that before Rashi the sages and rabbi almost all believed that Isaiah 53 was about Moshiach. The Word Moshiach only appears twice in the book of Daniel. G-d is the only one that does the saving as He says in Isaiah 43:11. Rambam's laws of Moshiach chapter 11-12 is only about Moshiach ben David. Judaism has taught that there were TWO Moshiach's Moshiach ben Yosef and Moshiach ben Dawid. Rambam missed this. IF Orthodox Judaism knows so much then Why don't they know His Name?

It is YHWH's hand that saves (is Yeshua/salvation/the Savior). "My own arm brought salvation for Me" (Isaiah 63:5).
He is coming again. Blessings.

@KingOystar The term *branch* refers to Messiah in scripture. We are told outright in the prophets that the *branch's name* is Yeshua/Joshua.
Zechariah 3:8-6:12

@Jimvesterstallone the problem is the word in Hebrew is not virgin. Betulah means "virgin" and that is not the word used.
KingOystar 1 month ago
@KingOystar With all due respect that is like saying the word is not cat, but feline, when they are both words for the same animal.
Almah means "virgin, young woman a) of marriageable age, b) maid or newly married."
Bĕthuwlah *also* means "virgin."
Both words can mean virgin & if we look at their uses in Scripture, both words *are used* at times pertaining to virgins.
Also, Isaiah never pointed to any maiden & said "the maiden is with child." You are, perhaps w/out realizing, adding.
