I've only a few days prior begun what I consider to be my best fantasy paint jobs on a pair of war priests and THEN the contest comes, shame they're too far in to enter now. Thank goodness the Third one is still only assembled, maybe I can still pull this off...

Im gonna agree, this contest was good, and grats to all the winners and thosue who enter. I was tempted to pick up something to entre, but like eveyrone said.. way too many rules.

I say some wip pics with proof that yer doing it new and a good final picj should be all thats needed..

Hey, I no this video is not appropriate for the question but here it comes, feel free to anyone to answer. I am new to Warhamemr 40k and I really like the idea of painting these figures and seeing how good i can get, but my question is this. What army/race, would any of you guys highly recommend, and remember I am only just starting out so nothing too complex, Thanks!

If you're talking about 40k, I'd say Space Marines are a good place to start. Alot of their weapons etc are easily recognizable (heavy bolters look their role) and they're an all-around good army. I started with the Battle for Macragge kit and I loved it.

Most complicated contest to enter eva, wateva happened to take a pick of a model send the pick if it's pretty u win a banana or somefink, this is getting rediculus >< This is soo stupifingly bonkers (yea comon bring back 80's terms like bonkers) it makes me literally want to paint my cat like an grot and shoot him outta some kinda catapult towards ur face, and my cat is fat it would be something similar to a fluffy bowling ball with claws coming at u. That's how scewed up u made me. Ur fault!!

Seriously, keep things simple! How many different web pages should someone have to visit? Two for your purposes plus additional sites for hosting and making accounts for them? Pictures taken? Really, 1 WIP wasn't enough need 3? Categorize the pictures with descriptions and tags, etc.?

There should be 2 pages people need, 1 for rules (as concise as possible) and 1 to submit. These could even be 1 page.

They've thought this through to be honest, gets people painting rather than dusting off old photos. Progression pictures are good to see and viewers can pick up tips on how they got from step 1 to step X.

It's as complicated or as simple as you want to make it... paint it in stages, take photos along the way, upload it to be seen and fill in an entry form. A trained monkey could do it :p
