I just saw the movie and I think it is better than its reputation. Its not exactly very good, but its quite allright and has a few great moments here and there. Some of the fantasy sequences were kinda tedious. The nazi-zombie stuff got boring real quick!

This movie was poorly directed.. He left so many important things out. For instance what happened to her Dad, or whoever that man was at the beginning? They never mentioned him at all after that? Also she needed to figure out the "last thing" on that list and I thought her risking her life to save Sweet Pea would be it? I don't know, I feel the director left too many important details out of the movie and some of the puzzle pieces did not fit at all. It was like turning in a paper w/out revision

Also the last thing on the list was baby doll hence a 'deep sacrifice' & a 'perfect victory". You have to dig deeper into the story if you really want to understand it.

I thought the movie was pretty bad. The actors, especially baby doll was horrible, and the story line sucked. The visuals and fight scenes were good though, but it was hard to get into them considering the main actor didnt make her ability to fight believable.

I expected more from the makers of 300, but oh well, cant hit the target every time.

The major problem with this movie is the third layer in the movie with all the over-the-top action sequences. That world has no rules and serves no purpose other than being an "escape". The third layer mirrors nothing in the previous 2 layers (asylum and brothel) and has no real world consequences.

That, for me, is the film's biggest downfall and ironically 90% of the marketing. Zack Snyder would have been better off just focusing on improving the rest of the movie and characters.
