They were told that for most of the football players, college was just a stepping stone before they went to prison!! She also said that there's a large number of Alabama player who can barely read on a 7th grade level.

jobob...there should be a big * by those 58 bowl games. yes alabama leads everyone in this stat due to the fact many years the big 10 and the big 7,8,12 didnt allow programs to go to 2 consecutive bowl games while the sec allowed programs to go to as many bowl games as possible...it isnt like alabama earned 58 bowl appearances while no one else could earn that many. many teams earned bowl games but had rules in place that kept tham out of bowl games. notre dame didnt do bowl games for many years

3 of those programs (michigan, notre dame, oklahoma) have more UNDEFEATED seasons than actual LOSING seasons. not only do all 3 of those programs have more undefeated seasons than alabama, all 3 have played tougher schedules based on the number of GAMES AGAINST the TOP 10 ALL TIME PROGRAMS. oklahoma has almost doubled alabama in that stat.

not finished yet. 1973 undefeated notre dame whips alabama and they split....1978 usc 24 alabama 14 in birmingham yet they split....yea alabama certainingly hasnt ever been the media darlings huh. you might want to educate yourself to the actual facts. i dont consider houlgate the media but in 1941 undefeated minnesota was awarded the ap title. alabama with 2 losses finished 20th with 4 sec teams ranked over alabama yet alabama claims as 1941 one of the "13" so called national titles.
