I am enchanted by the brilliant body art: it's spectacular & truly impressive. I know form personal experience how remote & harsh the country is in that area & to have captured this bounty of creativity is a godsend. Congratulations for capturing this beautiful artistry for us viewers. Where can we find the coffee table book? Thank you v much.
Fantastic representation! WHAT A CREATIVE PEOPLE! The music may not be ethnically correct (I would love to hear the authentic music!) but somehow represents Africa as whole for me. For me this was something very special. Thank you. Eve (webshots member)
As a proud Ethiopian, I must say a bit disappointed on how this was presented. These pictures are amazing and do show the diversity of what being an Ethiopian means. But what is the background music? Where did it come from? It isn't even close to being anything Ethiopian. It would have been more professional of him if he replaced the current (non Ethiopian song) with the tribes own music or any other traditional type Ethiopian music.
My deepest Thanks for your visit and comment to my video. Regarding your comment about the music I totally agree with you. Believe me It was not easy for me to find the Omo Ethnic Ethiopian music. I am sure it would be fantastic! Can you help me to find it? Please.
By the other hand it is an honor for me to show to all the world this particular and wonderful site of your beloved country. In other words I am acting as a virtual ambassador of Ethiopia. Isn't it?
Manuel: Thoroughly enjoyed this very professional and moving collaboration! A true work of art! The crescendo and decrescendo of the music added so much to this presentation! Would have loved to have seen traditional dancing of this tribe! Bravissimo!
Manuel .. you did a great job! Some of these pics are truly National Geo quality ... very nice ... I hope you have made an album on webshots of this ??
Hiciste un trabajo fantastico !! Es un documentario muy impresionante, de una grande belleza ! Tu largo comentario me encanta, la musica tambien ... Felicidades, Manuel !!!
I am totally amazed by these photos and video; The portraits are all outstanding, unusual and very creative; African Art at its best, beauty of our world! The music matches also very well! Congratulations for that marvel and thanks a lot dear Manuel, Jacques
