4t are definitely the best on tracks, but sometimes, i think i could be more speedy in the wood with a 4t, especially goin' down.. with the engine-brake i always throttle like a fool..(when i tried my friends ktm250/4t)!!

well... less power of 4strokes, gives u more possibilities...well, i mean: 2strokes give u hp quickly and with less control...

4strokes are progessives, still powerful (doublesizing Cc), and more "reliable"...

SO: in the track, u r faster with a 4s than a 2s... cauz u can "open" as well..

but 250F(4s) is more "reliable" with the throttle... u can give it all, when u ld not with a 2t, that is too much "crabby" with the releasin' of the power... so now 4st are faster on the tracks!! u must see it!!

yes finally a guy who thinks like me. the whole problem with the 2strokes vs the 4strokes is that they are com pairing smaller cc 2strokes against 4strokes with twice the cc's the truth is that a 2stroke engine the same size as a 4stroke engine is way better 2strokes are way more superior to 4strokes.

naw 4 storkes are new technology and you can go faster due to the engine brake, the power, and handeling. 2 strokes are harder to ride i use one for practice and it gets me better so when i go back on my 450 i rail.

what kind of question is that? if you know enough about motocross to notice the "torque" pull... then u should be able to tell if its a 2 or 4 stroke instantly... 4 strokes have more overall torque than 2 stkers anyway, 2 strkers are dying out... although ill never forget how fun they were to ride back in the 80's and 90's.... long live cool
