  • Wrong. I am an atheist through and through. Your wedge tactics are juvenile and deception and just plain bullshit. There is no god, never was, never will be. Not even a possibility. It'd be nice if there were, it'd be nice to spend eternity in heaven, but we won't. It'd be nice to live in Neverland too, but we won't. Grow up. Please.

  • @schadenfreudelolz22 I'm guessing you stopped watching at the kirk/ray intro and think the video supports them.

    If I'm wrong I apologize.

If I'm right, I think you'll enjoy watching this video to the end.

  • @corthew No, no, I watched the whole thing. My comment was just about the Kirk/ray bit. It's a common load of crap from Christians who attempt to argue/convert me. I'm worn out by these people who claim to be friendly and truthful, yet attempt to deceive people into believing something they know isn't true.

But I can see how it appeared I stopped watching partway in. No worries.

  • the heart and the gut don't have anything to do with emotions. those still originate in the brain.

  • @brownbigb

    Nothing to do with emotions?

    A gut feeling?

Of course you're right that they are functions of the brain.

And they do have their proper place.

When you're making big decisions and there is no time to gather enough information to evaluate the one path over another, you have to go with your gut.

But some people are better served by going against it because they usually make the wrong choice.

We blame impulsive actions on the gut because we expect more from the brain.

  • @corthew emotions and feelings do not come from the gut. the gut is Th part of the alimentary canal between the stomach and the anus. emotion do generate in the brain. just because people say gut feeling, it doesn;t mean it actually comes from there. same goes for the heart.

  • @brownbigb

I'm sorry...Perhaps you simply are not understanding the point.

You may want to watch this video to it's end because I suspect you have either missed something or you are being deliberately dense.

  • Best vid i've seen in a while.

Already subbed to most of these ppl and more, but your point couldn't have been said better.

  • Ha, great ending corthew!

One guy's from New Zealand (thunderfoot's homeboy)

and the other may as well be from another planet known as the 1980's cocaine freak out sitcoms on TV.

So did that kirkguy kill someone? DUI? Or was it the money. Yeah, probably the money. Creeeepy how much they made using the TV as tool and how much time we waste listening. I digress, debate is what counteracts totalitarianism. Paaaaayce!

  • Kid, go back to Growing Pains.

    SHOW ME THAT SMILE AGAIN~~~~

  • Heh. Kirk thinks intellect is like dandruff because his own mind is so dry and flaky.

  • Awesome! I am subscribed to all those channels, and it is a daily dose of refreshment, knowing there are other people out there that express themselves so clearly, and make you think, instead of having the thinking done for you. Corthew, you are also one of those bright lights!

    Thank you!

  • Suspend critical thinking while we fill your head with fairy tales.

  • *****

  • At the end.. Ray and Kirk OWNED!!

  • Likening the intellect to dandruff?

At last, we see why Kurt is as he is.

  • I have to agree with MrCFruitfly's comment about that clip in that end where both Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron are contradicting each other. That was a pretty sweet find.

I'm glad you like my videos. (Even though I only have two for the moment). I have to say that being grouped in with people like Aronra, Thunderf00t, and cdk007 is a great honor. :)

  • I'm hoping you'll do more. That video montage was awesome.

  • Nice find of Ray Comfort contradicting the teachings of his own "ministry" there at the end!

  • Thank Thunderf00t. If Ray hadn't baited Thunderf00t in the first segment so that he could make that "brilliant" assertion, this video may not have an ending. :)

  • Im so glad I found and subbed your channel a few weeks ago, corthew. Another great video!

  • You grew up surrounded by Evangelists and Fundamentalists? How on Earth did you keep your sanity? My herat bleeds (emotionally) for you. Cracking ending by the way revealing yet another piece of Creationist hypocricy..

  • Even if I did fall for an appeal to emotion, I've come to see gods as being good for nothing but inciting war. The god of the bible is not good and has never been good. I do not believe he exists, but if he did, I would be against him. That's based not only on logic but on my emotional response to the many atrocities he's said to have committed in the bible.

  • Terrific video, corthew and the same applies to Muslims and Islam too!

  • That was really well played, corthew. I try to play it with that soft a hand, but I never quite manage it so well.

  • Great video as always :)

It seems that some people are programmed to not think for themselves. They are more easily fooled by those that promise an "easy" answer to life's difficult questions. As humans, we are easily swayed by emotions... some just more easily :)

  • Think with your brain, love with your heart is the saying I once heard. Good vid.
