I have both, an arc and an ipod.

Sorry but both of tehm have horrible flaws, but i guess the ipod has bigger flaws, not having an sd card, making it hard to put videos while installing pirated games. Lack of freedom to customize the phone. So all you do is download 5 minutes game and get bored of them. But some, and actually quite alot of, the games are fun.

So far, except for performance issues, the arc works find. Sorry since you like apple, but IOS just feels so... boring.
