this is actually bad for a cat to suckle like this my cat developed some infection/inflamation on top of the mouth from suckling and had to be given some medication

Looks like the poor baby was taken away from Mama too soon. This is typical for cats that were weaned way too early. The soft blanket reminds her of Mama's fur. She'll probably outgrow it but I can see she is well loved or she would not be comfortable enough to suckle away.. good luck, I hope you have many years with her. And Happy Holidays!
