and what does tht mean?! let me try . . i offer hrudayanjali unto the feet of amma, apara saraswati!? sorry , but no offence intended. . . i don't understand telugu but love it!!
@hulk70006 para means other, unreachable in telugu."apara" means she belongs to this world, reacheable. So apara saraswathi means, the saraswathi belonging to this world.Telugu pandits, excuse me if I was wrong.
I am trying to listen to all other artistes who sang this one.I could observe that MS is very elaborate on her singing, very particular about what she sings, stressing every word,The beauty of her renditions is how she stresses every word.Singers these days donot stress on the words tthey sing.they spell
Dhakka and daaka in the same way.
Thats why there is no depth in their singing.Words words words mean everything. When will otther singers understand this!
Around 1:5 see the excellence of MS Amma, it does melt a rock too, there is no doubt about why Rama would have appeared before the great Bhakta Thyagaraju .....
Proscrastinate salutations to my Amma - The , inimitable, invaluable, greatest of Carnatic Music exponent t, called Meera bai of south India, I have ever listened....
MSS is truly a saraswati amsa. am truly lucky to be born in the century she adorned this earth. just listening to her renditions can make one a better human being and invoke divinity.
Listening to this great composition and ultimate presentation, I cannot contemplate how our society with such rich culture and heritage is becoming greedy and violent and loosing its moral bearing. Hope we can correct ourselves studying our literature.
too good what a legend!!!

In my opinion, these people like MS, MPB, SP ... are "swaraswati sadhakas" in true essence.
