  • Well made vid! You said you were using flat EQ on both mics; good that you stressed that. The Bluebird is nice, I'd love to play with one. I use the 57's frequently in live sound applications, they're SO EQ'able it ain't funny. Real Swiss Army mics, those. That said I'd love to get my hands on a Bluebird. All Blue's mics are really stylish.

  • So this is what Victor Ortiz does while he's not boxing lol. But yea, I wonder how the Blue Bird compares to the MXL v69.

  • great video! I wish everyone reviewed like you:)

    I'm getting these two mics this week >:)

  • Thanx for the reviews! on another thing, how do you make that lettering text on your video? very nice and very pro....

  • @tonyvegas13 glad you enjoyed, hope it helps! The text is from iMovie that comes with the mac. They are text automation presets.

  • is that smashing pumpkins I hear?

  • The kazoo sounded kind of nasal through the Bluebird. Guess that rules it out for me!

  • What kinda pre amp u using so i can no to match cause I like that sound

  • @ooCRISCOooMUSIC I'm using an Apogee pre amp from the 2 channel Apogee Duet

  • bluebird=better voice

    sm57=better instrument

    thank you for the advice :)

  • @oceanestars Yeah, the 57 definitely held its own. It's such a great mic for all around use when you don't need the brightness on the instruments and you just want to capture the beef of it
