wow... I can't believe how innocent the late 70s were. The narrator and actors were so sincere and caring.  Nowadays they would push toward looking cool and macho. Mopeds, like in old times, not be manufactured anymore. These days scooters were manufactured. But the old Mopeds still exist. In Germany a Moped with pedals are called 'Mofa' of the two words 'Motor' and 'Fahrrad' (in english: Bicycle) cuz of the Pedals. The "real" Mopeds got no pedals, they mostly got Kickstarts, there where called Mokicks. The word Moped comes from Austria.

the word moped comes from sweden ffs... we invented the moped and the first moped camed in 1952, i think it was an nyman. the word moped comes from an journalist who combined the words motor and pedal. I actually owe an nyman automoped that was the second model ever made.
