Unfortunately, they parted with the easysaver on last year. They are promoting register rewards. That is when you purchase an item that they have advertised and a $ coupon will print out of the register. You may use the coupon to purchase items in the store.

I work at walgreens, currently now (august 30,2009) if you buy something more than $15 i think or less you get a coupon on $3 off of anything you buy except RX and has to be $15 or more

the easy saver catalog is actually being taken out of stores after the april month's edition. I'm not sure what we're gonna start doing now. I know because I work there. it was posted by the time clock. nice video ladies!

Thanks for the info DSDs-I understand what you're saying regarding corporate allowing stacking. Walgreens said they changed the wording on the ESaver coupon book 2 months ago to state "manufacturer coup only used at Walgreens" to stop moneysavers from stacking but the register will not be programmed not to accept manf coup til next year. Just giving heads up becz Walgreen refused to let me stack my $4 online coup for Sambucol w/ the $10 ES manuf coup I was upset but this was their reason.

Thanks for the heads up! We have been hearing about a lot of changes that will be coming to Walgreens. There may be taking away the rebate program. We believe it is because more people are being smarter with their money during this down turn. They are noticing more and more people using coupons and getting items for free or making money.

Today I spoke with the Walgreens district office in my area(Jax,FL) and they told me you cannot use a reg manufacturer coupon with the coups in the Easy Saver books because those (ES coup)are also manufacturer coup. The problem is the store register have not caught up to this policy and is still accepting them. Unfortunately this will change next year when the registers will be updated not to accept outside manf coup w/ ES coup.

However, there are so many different rules out there. The fortunate part is that there are still some Walgreens that will accept both. Until, they roll out the plan nationally we have never had a problem. We know of some personally that have received confirmation from corporate stating there rules that you may stack a mfr coupon with a walgreens coupon. Also walgreens rebate program accepts mfr coupons on top of their rebate. We called personally and this was confirmed. Thanks for sharing.

I took advantage of the easy saver (for the first time) and yesterday i purchased the revlon creme gloss, that will be free after the MIR, but revlon lip products are buy1get1free this week so i picked up a 7.99 gloss as my free one!! all in all i got $18 worth of lipgloss for free, and i will make $1 profit once the money is put on my card!! Now be careful if you turn around and use the register reward on the same product that you are buying again, the system knows it and you won't get another reward to print out. What we always do is purchase the item and wait for the reward to print up and then use it right then and there on our next product that we want to buy.

Another great question! Usually the register reward will print out if you purchase 1 product in a transaction. Make sure you read their ad closely it will state how many per purchase. However, a register reward is a coupon with a value just like cash that will print up after you purchase the item that you can turn around and use on your next purchase. For example, this week their soft n beautiful relaxer is on sale for $4.99. You buy it for that price and then a $4.00 register reward will print.

If you are asking do you need a gift card to shop at Walgreens, the answer is no. Once you purchase your first rebate, request a gift card as your form of payment back instead of a check. If you do that they will give you an extra 10% back of what your purchased for the rebate. Then we turn around and use our gift card for the next months rebate. Okay ladies..it worked...this is summer from Dallas....went to walgreens today...not only did i get my make up for FREE via rebate....they also had a buy one get one 50% off. Sooo I got Revlon lip gloss normal price at 9.99 for half off plus the free blush...summary reg price would have =20.00 plus tax...but with yalls help bill came to 16.22..$10 of which im getting back via rebate..meaning i spent $3 and chage for twooo revlon products

Great Video! I'm learning how to get great savings myself. I actually went to walgreens today. They have G. Fructis products on sale for $2.99 and in the savings book there is a $2 off coupon, which makes each product 99cent. You can also use the Sundays paper coupon, which in this case took another $2 off. So I paid $7.71 for 9 hair products.
