Thanks for the video. So helpful! I'm wondering if this year's NorCal will be much different. I was under the impression that it was a 10 mile course.
awesome. i also opted for the doing the two person log carry solo. someone got mad at me for carrying it like jesus.....i kinda look like him. good stuff man.
I turned it off in between events and the battery was almost full at the end (about 2 hrs) and I had a total of an hour and 15 mins of footage
Camelbak was fine, it was a little awkward with the cargo nets and stuff but hydration was huge because of the elevation. I saw guys all over cramping up.
nice vid. i was at this one too. a little disappointed in the obstacles to be honest. they were all so short and easy, the first uphill climb was the toughest for me.
I used a Go Pro HD 980 camera. There were probably another 50 people there wearing one (that I saw). I use it in all my races and love this thing. I edited using iMovie on a Mac.
Hey great job, I am doing the one in Feb of 2012 in San Antonio Texas. Hey what camera did you use to do that? That thing is tough, you had in the mud, under the water and everything. Also, what software did you the video editing with? I am doing the Warrior Dash this weekend coming.
Man that is awesome, I am doing the one next Feb in San Antonio texas. Hey what kind if camera is that, I want to buy one so I can film mine as well? You were under the water, in the mud, that is one hella good camera. Also what software did you do the video editting with? I will post mine when I am done with it. I doing Warrior Dash next weekend in Conroe Texas.
Finally a good video of TM Nor Cal! Thank you. I wish I would of invested in a cam and ran in the early groups. I ran at 12:15, way too many hold ups on the obstacles.
TM is about team work and not leaving friends behind and helping others, right?... Just asking....

Great Video! I will be running with my GoPro Chesty (Mount). What do you think? Should I wear it the whole way without C-Pack?

Awesome video, man! I'm running the NorCal TM this September. Got a couple questions:
1. How was the battery life on your camera? Did you have to turn it off at times to save battery or did it last the whole way?
2. How was running with a camelbak? Did it hinder the crawling segments? Or was it worth the issues just for the extra water supply?
Thanks!
