A distanza di un anno, oltre a ringraziare tutti coloro che hanno risposto al mio commento, volevo dare la mia esperienza personale riguardo al contatto con i Polmoni di Mare. Ho avuto modo di "giocare" per diverso tempo con alcuni di questi esemplari e li ho toccati un po' ovunque, tentacoli compresi. Alla mano non ho avuto nessun tipo di fastidio, mentre ho avuto il braccio leggermente irritato (niente di particolare).Credo quindi che in generale siano innoque,ma dipende dal tipo di pelle

Ieri al mare ne ho trovata una identica a questa , era stecchita sulla spiaggi di Jesolo l'ho presa in mano stando attenta a non toccare i tentacoli. Poi sono andata in edicola e ho preso focus per la prima volta dopo anni, e al centro del giornale c'era un articolo sulle meduse e quella che avevo trovato io stava al centro pagina sotto la scritta "Se avvistate queste specie mandateci un sms" Vogliono fare un censimento e ci spillano soldi per dirgli dove sono le meduse....In mare sono!!

questa qua è una medusa urticante ma non molto si trova comunemente nei mari di barletta e in tutto l'adriatico e la sua grandezza massima è di 60 cm. comunque questa foto forse è stata scattato a un molti metri dalla costa perchè è difficile che nelle vicinanze della costa raggiungano i 60 cm.e che il corpo i tentacoli della medusa si mantengano cosi intatti perche spesso tendono a ferirsi contro le secce e la riva

we have brown ones of these in greece. nasty pieces of work. i rented a boat, went for a swim, and found myslef with literally hundreds of them you could barely see water. it was horrifying. o got into the boat, got out a long stick and poked half of them to death. it was the best feeling of my life watching the fuckers die.

scusate l'ignoranza, ma da più parti leggo che questa medusa è innoqua. Considerato però che sono cresciuto sapendo il contrario, vorrei sapere se effettivamente toccarla non è pericoloso minimamente, o se comunque pizzica, anche se in maniera magari lieve.

@aspera3 Le rhizostoma pulmo sono solo lievemente urticanti. Solo nei soggetti più sensibili possono provocare irritazioni più dolorose, che scompaiono però senza gravi conseguenze.

@aspera3 E' una Rhizostoma pulmo, la specie più grande del Mediterraneo. Non dovrebbe essere irritante, o perlomeno dovrebbe esserlo ma molto lievemente. Nulla a che fare con la Pelagia noctiluca!!!

@aspera3 a me ha toccato una medusa di queste sulla gamba...era circa 10cm di diametro...e mi ha fatto un male cane! la gamba mi bruciava ed è rimasta altamente arritata per una settimana...ti posso assicurare che è poco piacevole essere anche solo sfiorati da queste schifezze!...ora infatti ho un terrore immenso per ste cose! @aspera3 ciao! questo dovrebbe essere un "polmone di mare", ed e considerata tra le meduse a basso potere urticante. Personalmente non ho mai infilato la mano tra i suoi tentacoli per verificare quanto sia basso questo potere, ma credo che un pò pizzichi, certo non come altre specie comuni da noi, tipo le "pelagie" il cui contatto lo senti eccome!!! esistono poi alcune specie che sono del tutto innocue,nel senso che non ti accorgi nemmeno di averle sfiorate.

El ejemplar del video es Rizhostoma pulmo y es una de las especies menos urticantes del Mediterráneo junto con Aurelia aurita y Cotylorhiza tuberculata. Sólo pueden irritar la piel más sensible como en la zona de las axilas o el rostro. Si se toca con los dedos no hay peligro a no ser que presenten heridas o afecciones dérmicas.
