Women seemed to like him because he supported women's rights. He was also trying to make Libya more independent, and some people think that's why the US attacked him. I was at Queens park last summer during the Toronto G20 and witnessed what happens to people with signs and peaceful strength. @Judy101101 I have to agree with you, that is what I see around me as well. I have followed several legal trials and all of them resulted in a lack of justice. Good RCMP have told my family that "two out of three judges are corrupt". At least that many for sure.

I agree that there will be a civil resistance of some kind. Hope it isn't violent, but we do need to take back our country. I also see a split in the country, as you describe it. Women seemed to like him because he supported women's rights. He was also trying to make Libya more independent, and some people think that's why the US attacked him. Also, his real name isn't spelled right by the press. Why is that? Whole thing is kind of a mystery. The press here weren't allowed to cover the war, so we're in the dark.

I've predicted this 20 years - went national for 3 months then people ignored the warnings - business as usual. within 2 years there will be ZERO food and no way out of this mess - last depression war and welfare bailed us out - what are we going to do - more of the same thinking things will change - nobody can even see the solutions yet we have plenty - we just have to want it- figure out causes - we live in a causal world - get to the root - the causes that causes the causes and you'll see

@Judy101101 I have to agree with you, that is what I see around me as well. I have followed several legal trials and all of them resulted in a lack of justice. Good RCMP have told my family that "two out of three judges are corrupt". At least that many for sure.

@Neurolanis in my opinion there is no good RCMP's out there - they can't, the system won't allow them to do a job. If there is one good one out there have him phone me and see if he actually has interest in doing a job. I have yet to find one, even the citizen groups designed to investigate them is protecting them. This has been going on for hundreds of years but nobody noticed

@2minstral Well, the election results hit me pretty hard. I wasn't so much angry, as numbed by it. A lot of things about Harper anger me and I try to stay level-headed. I agree that there will be a civil resistance of some kind. Hope it isn't violent, but we do need to take back our country. I also see a split in the country, as you describe it. Things may have to get a lot worse until that many people are willing to stand up, unfortunately.
