  • Wow, look how great he looks. For his age many would kill to look like that. And what great form. Very Nice.

  • i gotta kick outa him smackin' his butt at :10.

  • very nice. I recognize his sweeps elbows and skip advances very clearly. Nice moves and great display of the Praying Mantis forms. Notice the quick directional changes from various positions, meant for multiple attacking angles.

  • Great moves and good teacher, but I wish you can reshoot the scene in better lighting and a more stable camera!

  • Notice the [Backwards} swastika in the background... This was the symbol for good/ the nazis altered that ...

  • The master looks well conditioned for his age, amazing!

What sort of drills and exercises does he implement in his training?

  • Hi Richhewton,

You know the name in Chinese this form?

    tks,

    André Azevedo.

  • 螳螂

  • This was in a Buddhist temple courtyard in Tainan, Taiwan last October. It is the last part of the plum flower mantis "hammer" form.

  • I was taught this form by master shi in 2004... the very end is a little different, as i understand he likes to put signatures on things so he knows through what avenue someone learned something... i like this form
