  • Gotta love the ol' Muzzy 3 blade. Any buck with a bow is a trophy to me..

  • Great video! Id love for you to check my stuff out as well!

  • cant any hunt with out a guide any more, time to get back with nature and find your own deer. other wise nice buck.

  • @PAPerTURKeY, get a bear archery charge. It shoots great and is low budget if your serious about it. Also you need to practice ALOT because it is important to be confident in your shot and to know exactly where you arrow is going to go.

  • bitch!

  • good shot placement..

  • boy i wish i had the opporutunity to hunt in a spot as goodthat one.on average i see one deer or 2 a day. And thats after sittin for 6 hours. Cant drive to public land, not old enough to drive yet. biggest buck ive seen so far where im huntin is a 3 point with 4" tall antlers (spike with a little brow tine comin in) but i hunt for meat mostly,or a buck bigger than the one i killed last. No spikes or forks

  • Hey man nice buck, good shot, I know if I would be trying to put a broad head together in my stand with gloves on i would have dropped at least 2 of the blades and lost them in the leaves lol

  • muiiito bom cara! é uma pena que aqui no brasil a caça não seje liberada ou por temporada, mas de vez em quando faço aventuras desse tipo...

  • see people have no idea about deer a one year old can't start out as a monster they have to start some where duh and they call their selfs hunter the saying once a spike always a spike bull shit they will see thier prime time and they will be a monster

  • @Joseph6151 I thought only in PA was that line of thinking! I feel PA does have it's share of genetically inferior deer, however, since they implemented our antler restrictions I personally believe I'm seeing bigger racks!

  • @aaaaa0000000000 Thank you see am not the only one that believes that people thank that they start out six and eight points thats not true if thats the case then button bucks will always be button bucks

  • The sound of deer walking in dry October leaves is quite possibly the best sound on the face of the earth!

  • Perfect shot

  • Bien...

  • NICE ARROW!!!!! and better then that a better deer good job

  • Beautiful shot...doesn't get prettier than that! What type of release is that?

  • nice video great shot

  • MALDITO ASESINO

  • Nice video.....great camera work! Thx a lot... 5*

  • I can see why we dont shoot spikes. But, man you can't eat horns. Dont get me wrong I like to kill a good buck now and then but you can't eat horns and we shoot anything with forked horns. Puttin' meat in the freezer! Nice video man!

  • @TheDogHunter22 The only thing i have to say about that is that in some areas theree are so many deer that are so predicatable that if you can get on the right trail you can se 5 -10 deer a night. Shooting the first one you see means your tagged out really quickly. Now its not like that in my area , at all but i've heard of that being true , and if that was the case i don't se why you wouldn't hold out for a certian kind of deer. Me i'd take be taking 2 1/2s if i had the choice .mmmmm

  • @oo1tracker001 You're right. I read the same report. Kind of interesting.

Genetics play a big role, but more bucks than you realize DO have the genes to become big, they just lack nutrition and time to grow. I know here in AR ( also where this vid is) there's a 3 point rule. But that doesn't make a difference. It actually hurts the population. People should learn to age deer on the hoof and harvest 4 1/2 year old plus deer regardless of antler size. Before long you'll be seeing 140+ deer regu

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if i had my eye on a buck for 2 years i wouldnt even shoot it. its kinda like a connection

  • I read a study that was done on yearling spikes and fork horns. The study was done on the outcome of antler growth from yearling to maturity. And regardless of being a spike or forkhorn as a yearling, most of the bucks achieved racks into the 130's at maturity. They even concluded that after 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 years, a deer will not develop more points than he already carries. Of course, there will always be exceptions in nature.

  • That is a true misconception my friend. We keep up with our bucks on a very strenuous level. We've had hundreds of spikes as year and a half olds and within' 3 years they'll be 10 points main frame just like this. In Arkansas it's very common to see such a thing. It's not until they hit the 2 year old mark that we start culling out spikes through 6 points. Even then I'm sure some of the 6 points would've been great 8's but we're trying to grow rock solid 10's. Been doin' it for 20 years now.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster

I am from kansas and the reason why i think we have such big bucks is because we have so much farmland. I dont normally go for trophy bucks but the average point of a buck that usually goes through my hunting area which is only 5 acres is 8 points.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster hey man nice video im a 13 year old boy who has never been hunting before and im trying to look for a nice quality low budget bow, thanks

  • @aviator052003

In PA there is an atler restriction (no clue where these guys are) so you COULDN'T shoot the spike even if you wanted to. 2nd, it is common, not definate that that deer would have matured into a small "degenerate" buck. Not to mention that it had atleast one browtine making it not a spike. And according to an article published in F&S on this subject, if a deer grows just one point on its spikes it makes a huge difference in mature size.

  • @aviator052003 also is some cases like here in pa it is illegal to kill spikes must have 3 points to one side to be legal

  • @aviator052003 haha i read that in a book but its not true, you neaver see a 200 puond spike buck in the woods do u , dosnt make sence, it might mean you dont have amazing jeenz but that deer was a year and 1/2 old next year he will be a 6 or 8.

  • smacked him. nice. go muzzy's

  • I want to know wath do you do with the deer ? do you sell it slaughter house ?

Or this one can you earn monney with hunting ?

  • Earn money? Heck no brotha! We eat em'. Deer is by far some of the healthiest meat you can get. No fats and for dang sure no chemically enhanced beef or such. You ain't had nothin' till you've eaten deer venison!!!!!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster hell yeah damn right!

  • @Outdoorvideomaster Fat is essential to our diets, but deer is still good eating.

  • @Outdoorvideomaster Fact is, till it's all said and done, With land and deer management, not to mention gear, and your time deer harvesting, venison maybe the most costly meat on the market! However I can't get enough tenderloin and we have a guy up here that makes dry beef thats to die for!

  • @TmTinablink And I tend to spend way more on gas, gear and time then it would take to buy a side of beef! BUT - it is so much fun, SO challenging, I don't care. I eat em, but hunting them is the best part!

  • nice buck dude. good shot

  • nice video ,thanks for posting :-)

  • muzzys bad to the bone man hec of a shot nice buck

  • NICE!!! That's the shot! Nice buck.

  • what spooked them all @ 2:25? sounds like one of the stepped on a stick or somethign?

  • @tuckerthegsp Seemed to me the video had been edited and put back together wrong, out of order.... hes drawing and the deer had already scattered...

  • u can see the blood come out as the arrow enters!!!

  • who puts the blades on their broadhead while in the tree? Why not just prepare to hunt before hand?

  • FANTASTIC SHOT BRO....5/5!!!

  • Would a 16 year old be able to draw 60 lbs? Please let me know.

  • @laxlag16 Sure, why not? I could draw 60@ 16 no problem. I draw 65 now, but then again, I'm 30 years old. My bow is maxed.

  • @laxlag16 hey man im 16 and i can pull 65 nice havent tried 70before but reckon i could still do it

  • @laxlag16 Im 14 and draw 60

  • @laxlag16 im 16, i can draw 62 pounds, but, i struggle. i can barely pull it and im not out of shape. i have to like wiggle and shit. you cant do that in the woods. go for like 45-50 because 40 lbs is minimum for the law, and they wouldnt let you hunt deer with a bow thats not strong enough to kill.

  • im 13 and using a 45 lb bow.. im not really a big kid but im going to bowhunt this year and do you think muzzy would be good for me?

  • "better get comfortable buddies, there is a line up"

  • unfortunately for those of us who hunt fair chase/ public land deer the luxury of passing up a 120" deer is not the norm. Good Video and nice shot!

  • nice shot looks like you were high enough to just drop the arrow on him and kill him lol

  • That can be some pretty exciting tree standing...when you have not only plenty of Deer come in but as well you have a history with a certain Buck or Doe. Sure can make for a great hunt and definitely did in this case.

Awesome footage...great shot and beauty Deer, congrats.

    Kewl thumbs up show.

  • Good patience. You're obviously on a corridor, so just let it ride until you see your order come up.

  • are you using muzzy's or rage s

  • muzzy 3's? or 4's

  • Bow hunting in my opinion is the only real hunting out there. Scoped weapons are too easy, and hunting with a bow shows true skill.

  • Nice shot!!!

  • what a stud. seems like you guys have a great program. neil, southern appalachia

  • Great Buck! Nice shot!

  • South jersey:I had no problems with ur audio thought it was a great video and hunt

  • Great hunt, Great Video. Just a tip, check your audio with a headset every time before you start your ending interviews/commentary other than that great hunt! I hope you can give me feedback as well. This will only make us better at putting these videos together for our viewers.

    4.5/5 *

    Hunt Hard & Hunt Safe

    Tim

  • Hmmm. Actually there isn't a thing wrong with the audio. We are both mic'd and I've double made sure that audio is well within' audio permeters set for tv. This hunt actually aired on two shows and one of Muzzy's dvds. You might be hearing something in your system. I do appreciate the feedback though. Makes me double check my stuff. Guaranteed!!!!

  • I am more than happy to share any knowledge I may have as well as any criticism. It only makes one better.

  • nice deer but after many years in the woods my self I understand what almost didn't happen those deer set the alarm and that deer stayed put and made it a done deal more often then not that deer would have aleast ran out of range for me...

anyway nice shot nice deer good day in the woods

  • omg dude there were deer everywhere!

  • the buck didnt look all that big body wise also you mentioned 150" get it scored i bet your lookin more like 130 class deer not 150

  • Hey brotha you didn't pay attention to what we were saying. We stated that if we were to let him grow another year he'd been a 150 class buck. Raymond past him the year before as a 120 tops. He netted 142 and 1/8 and is in Pope and Young.

  • oic ok that seams more realistic . im sure you guys are hunting sum sweet spots that is off limits to everyone else thou

  • What broadheads were you using?

  • Muzzy brotha!!!!

  • @534810 Muzzy three blade... they are AWESOME

  • every good hunitg video i find u tape ti..ahah

  • Thanks brotha! I appreciate it very much.

  • "Wonderful Doe!" let's kill it!

    REDNECKS &WHITE TRASH!

  • What he score?

  • i have been hunting since i was 6 and i have shot some big deer but i have never got a shot that good with a bow. if you want to see my buck check out "08-09 hunting season" on my acount

  • Congrats man. Do you think I could get a chance at one like this??? I have some spare money laying around. :)

    Nice deer. 5* video BTW...

  • one question. why are you using aluminum arrows?

  • i use alluminiums too cause if you test, you will get much more penetration than carbons and they are grossly durable.

  • gotcha. i think the same but i still use carbon.

  • but carbon shoot alot faster. it doesnt really matter, its whatever you prefer.

  • @smeesta Shouldn't the question be why is he putting his broadhead together in the stand? I'm not sure I've ever witnessed that ever? I guess he's confident his bow will shoot any broadhead the same as his practice tips, glad it worked out....

  • awesome job. tracked for 2 years and hes pretty massive. good job..

  • shots dont' get much better than that nice job

  • there you go great shot mathews and muzzys. that what i shoot easy to tune to.

  • LOL! I have to make that boy put new blades on his broadheads everytime we climb a tree cause he won't quit shooting his new broadheads just for fun which dulls them. This went to Muzzy broadheads so it was alos product placement.
