Sad to say, Ken Russell just passed away---I always enjoyed his crazy-as-hell, eccentric flicks---especially THE DEVILS, which is finally going to be on DVD in early 2012--that one was always my personal favorite of his,because it was so-in-your-face and very much a comment on the political upheavals of the early '70's. Also liked BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN, an insane 1967 spy caper with Michael Caine that is big time underrated---worth seeking if you can find it---it's that good.

Oh, my God! I think this is the first time anyone has been able to see this film since 1970! It was meant to be included in a US DVD box set recently but was pulled at the last minute. Thank you so much! It's striking how similar the imagery is to The Devils made at around the same time.

@djbethell Hello, what I did is used Download helper for Firefox, then download MP4s. From there, I combined the files and eventually burned that.

I bought in the US the Ken Russell dvd box about the omnibus artists biographies he directed in the 60's for the BBC...this one is still missing. Ken's baroque style was too shocking for Strauss's family and the film has always been forbidden since then...Ken Russell has done awesome films for the BBC!
