I still got the CD for this album that I bought together with my first Sony Radio & CD player....and yes back in the 80's...1987 I guess ...it cost me a good chunk of $ back in the day but it was worth it !
This song should have been a major hit. Did their record label give it a push? The first time I heard this song I thought the vocals sounded like the band Europe.
loved this song when I was in high school in the 80's. Lived in chicago and not many people heard of hurricane. but me and some friends lthought they were awesome.
holy crap in a cracker!...I can't believe I'm watching this video...this was one of my favorite songs from the great 80's metal days....adopo2011 and bassclef41, you guys are right on the money when you said "this songs rocks hard" and "it's still an ass kicken song".....double devil horn salutes all around!!!!!!
This was a very powerful band.Solid vocals and some serious chops by Sarzo.Great album.

Good band! I remember when this album was out, it sounds very similar to Y&T, mainly for the vocals, so near to David Meniketti's

I can't find my stub but I'm pretty sure it was RPI. March 10, 87 is the date I have, opening for Stryper.

@tommytrixter Is that Bobbie Brown in the video? I thought she looked familiar. She married Jani Lane(r,i,p,) back when Cherry Pie came out.

I can't recall why I liked these guys. Oh well. They got my money in the 80s.
