I-90 Floating Bridge (Driving across), Seattle to Bellevue

I saw a segment on the news years ago about a secret room being discovered inside either I-90 or 520. An architect working on the bridge was able to keep it hidden for years. When it was finally found there was a bed, large bookshelf, running electricity and all kinds of furnishings inside. I have been searching or an article or anything about this and can't seem to find shit. Does anybody else remember seeing this on the news?

@wheresfloyd lol.... yep.. what a beautiful day here in the vid. I lived in the puget sound area for 7 years and this kind of weather is a bit unusual, esp in fall/winter/spring. summers are a *bit* better.

Hey, have you been to Vancouver, BC? Our freeways suck compared to those in Seattle, and our bridges are old and dilapidated. I wanna move to Seattle :(

Yes, I have been to Vancouver, BC. The roads were OK in the city, much better in suburbs though.

I love crossing this bridge into Mercer Island and Bellevue from the city. Seattle rocks.

Wasn't The Floating Bridge a tipe of drawbridge? I was here in 1986 and when we drove across it I saw gates up on both sides of the bridge. Dose it still open for boat traffic?

@Aaron200707 You are thinking of a Evergreen Point Floating Bridge on SR-520. Which is couple miles to the north of this I-90 bridge.

@Aaron200707 To tell if this was 520 or not, did you have to cross two bridges to Bellevue?
