    Jeff

  • Cool vid. Makes it look so simple! I have to look at a relatives broken washer this weekend. It's an Amana front loading washer. it's not spinning. Do you have a similar vid somewhere on how to remove the covers on an Amana washer?

  • Very helpfull. Thanks.

  • Not sure if this video will help me or not, but it is a whole lot more informative than most of the other videos I've watched about washing machine repair. Thanks for this one dude.

  • Thanks for the video!

I just spent over an hour trying to find a leak by removing the back panel. What a pain. Now that I know how to take this thing apart it will only take a couple of minutes to track down. I was just getting ready to buy another washer but now I'm sure that I'll find and fix the problem.

  • best help vid thanks a lot, washed 2100 bux on accident.

  • 2 thumbs up buddy on this video. any pointers/steps on how to find out why my kenmore elite washing machine does not have any power on the control panel. I already checked the outlet, I'm getting 110v.

    Thank you much,

    Raul, Roseville, CA

  • Any idea on how to remove the front panel cabinet of this washer model lat3600aae. There are two latch on the bottom and two clips on the top. No idea on how to remove this properly. • very helpful, thanks a lots

  • Thanks. Very helpful. God bless.

  • Thanks for the video. I never would of thought that it was super easy. I just replaced the lid switch in under 5 min.

  • The tub on my Kenmore Washer-Dryer Laundry (Model 110.26182) is completely askew - crooked. I know from past experience that one of the whatever-ya-call-em's has come loose. A friend of mine fixed it once but I can't call him again to repair it nor can I afford to have Sears come out and fix it. Any ideas? Desperately, Kathy

  • Great video. I had a list of 18 steps for my repair job, and this one removed the obfuscation of the first 6.

So I replaced my motor coupling. While testing it (with only water) I noticed that when i opened the top during the spin cycle, the drum stopped spinning rather abruptly. Is that normal? Maybe I am used to seeing the momentum of the clothing cause the spin to last a little longer?

  • Great video...cut to the chase...Thanks for saving me time and energy.

  • My machine makes noises when spinning and I think one of these days it might take off if I don't get there fast enough. How do I fix it?

  • Thanks for posting. The video was very helpful and clear.

  • Thank you for this wonderful video. Saved me at least $75 on a service call to replace the lid switch.

  • That was awesome help to my husband and me! Thank you so much! We were trying to get to the lid switch from below, and killing our hands and using a lot of colorful language. My husband actually listened to me after I watched the video, and we got it opened right up! Fixed the switch and saved the day. Awesome video, very clear, thank you, thank you!

  • Excellent. I do maintenance for a living and yet I was kind of confused on how to get into my washing machine. This video showed me exactly how to do it. Now I just have to go find a part to fix it.

  • Very helpful. Thanks. Appreciate the steady close-ups.

  • This video was very helpful. I have removed the pump but I don't have a new one yet. I am thinking of sealing the two holes I've found in the front of the pump instead of replacing it altogether. Has anyone done this? I'm afraid I may futher damange the machine..HELP!!

  • Won't work, have seen this done too many times without being successful. Best thing to do is just replace the pump.

  • I reallyh appreciate this video. It helped me get into my washer in a matter of moments. The only thing that I would suggest for improvement would be to show us how to put it back together. There's a proper way to put the cabinet back on. So far in three attempts all I've managed to do is cut my hand. :-(

  • Thank you! Very helpful and clear. Now I know what to do.

  • The best I've seen yet! Thanks!

  • Very nice work ,also good for KitchenAid branded Whirlpool washers,Thanks

  • Thanks. I forgot how to do it, nearly wrecked the top before I saw this!

  • !GREAT! Thanks for being so helpful

  • Concise..to the point..exactly what I needed. Thanks.

  • This video is brillant for anyone wanting to save hunreds of dollars and sanity on repairs. After months of draging the wash to the laundromat, I finally figured it was just the switch lid. With your help it was easy to replace the part.. I thank you from the bottom of my paycheck, plus you have sexy legs.

  • Thank you! I've been trying to figure this out for a day now.

  • Excellent Video, I am going to put in a new lid switch. Thanks!

  • Of course, it is helpful!!! Thanks a lot!

  • Well this was more helpful than my husband...ooops I mean. This was more helpful than....erum...the instructions?

    Honestly. Thank you.

  • A life-saver on a Saturday afternoon. A video is definitely worth a thousand words. Worked like a charm and now we have the part number of the lid switch and can replace it. Thanks so much! Certainly a lot cheaper than buying a new washer.

  • You are awesome,I have already done this on my old kenmore to replace the motor coupler.

  • Yo, ApplianceOutlet. Thanks so much for this video. I got the old switch out and bought the replacement part. But for the life of me I could not figure out how in the world to reach that ground screw. I knew there had to be a way to get inside that cabinet. This was exactly what I needed. I have no idea how much I would have paid a repair person to do this, but I know I saved some coin. Thanks!

  • Great video. Tried to "Google" help with a text-based website, and this is so much better. Thank you!

  • lots of help, thanks!!!!!!!!!

  • Will be linking many people to this video. Thank you!

  • That saved my backside for replacing the lid switch on my Kenmore!

I thought this would be a bear of a job--with the video, my coffee didn't even get cold!!

  • Good Job!

  • @Murph1090 i wanted to remove the top off my GE because my washer is not agitating but water is working. Im now looking at the button under the lid, it seems to be i think broken.

  • and then you disconnect the pump and motor and find the broken drive coupling. and then the poor technologically challenged people who attempted this can not figure out how to put the machine back together.

  • this was great! Now the next step? Finding the probelm. I'm a woman so it may take a minute longer

  • What's the problem your having?
