Living in Japan, I hear alot of Jpop and I hear "coincidences" from time to time...I used to screw around and try to write music and usually, I would have a couple of popular (or obscure) songs I liked in my head and I would start by playing them by ear (often poorly) and joining the two songs and in the process it would become something different and uniquely mine but it might still have a trace or two of the songs that had originally inspired me.

About the song... I'm not a fan of this genre, but you gotta acknowledge the kick ass job, it's very good if you hear it from a producer point of view.
