No apologies necessary. There are times that I'm thrilled to be incorrect about my perceptions. And, if your perception is more accurate than mine, thank you for the feedback!Bottom line, it appears that we both want what is best for the horses.

Real good to know the rope was lower than what I thought it was.

Three cheers for safe and good horsemanship!

    Taggsmom

  • My concern is when the "guide piece" held in Trevor's L hand slips up to his horse's throat. Pressure here, even from a bridle's throatlatch piece that isn't loose, can cause glandular damage, per info from a vet.

    Tagg's mom

  • @taggsmom sorry but I am a vet and the piece of rope you are talking about is too low to cause any damage. It would have to have direct strangulating pressure much closer to the horses jowls to cause the damage you are referring to. This is safe and good horsemanship

  • Awesome, and NO not every broke horse can do this...

  • awesome. I wish everyone would try bridleless.

  • That's amazing. It really shows the natural bond and trust between a cowboy and his horse. It's very inspiring. (I'm sure Trevor's ego didn't suffer either ;-) but hey it doesn't hurt to show off a bit with that much talent and hardwork behind it)

  • Nice work and a great horse! The calfs are not hurt during this, in some rare instances there may be an injury but it is very rare!

  • i dont see whats so impressive, any broke horse can do it.

  • No one ropes like that out on the ranch so why does this pussy feel the need to abuse the animal like that?....for money of course

  • @sohcsarewicked a soon to be 8 time all-around world champion a pussy? whoever would say that is a gunsel and dont apprieciate a cowboy and horse working as a team knowing what the other is gonna do before it happens. yeah prolly for money thats how he makes his living.

  • @fish42083 Did you ever google his father? "Jimmy David Brazile" "Hopefully, rodeo's "World Champion" Trevor Brazile, a calf and steer roper, didn't learn anything else from his dad. If Jimmy Brazile thinks that sex with a child is "not a big deal", then he surely thinks that his son's chosen profession of injuring and abusing animals isn't a "big deal" either. Watch PRCA rodeo darling, Trevor Brazile, in action. Check back for the outcome of this Brazile family embarrassment."

  • @sohcsarewicked 1. shut the hell up. if it was animal abuse then why would us highschool kids be competing in rodeo. hmm??? 2. he does natural horsmenship have you ever seen trevor apply more pressure than needed. no. and 3. he is more sucessful than you. so shut up and have a nice day

  • @sohcsarewicked I so agree with you! I think rodeo overall is cruel to the animals, except barrel racing...and btw I'm a barrel racer myself so I have seen what happens behind the scenes that the public eye cannot really see.

  • @sohcsarewicked what abuse? none of the animals were hurt during this...

  • Treston is Adorable!!!!!

  • i bet the only dislike comes from sharkonline

  • @cowboyforever909 I just disliked this video , the guy is a pussy

  • @cowboyforever909 Quiet! :P

  • i bet the only dislike comes from sharkonline

  • @cowboyforever909 thats true

  • pretty fuck rank if you ask me

  • I'd hate to be the little calf. That would have to be scary the first time that happens to him!

  • Nice. No bravado, just gettin' down to business.

  • Trevor Brazile kick asses!!!

I'm his fan in team ropping or tie down.

  • FAR OUT GIGGY UP YA LITTLE BOY AESOME U AEWSOME TOO WAY TO GO COWBOY YEAH U SHOW THEM ALL ! TREVOR RIDE

  • Too bad he was disqualified.

AQHA has a rule that "in all western classes, horses will be shown in a western saddle and appropriate bridal for the duration of the class"

  • @honjlh This isn't a western class, it's a roping. I'm sure if there were a rule Trevor would know. They pulled off something incredible and made it look easy, and all you can say is how it breaks a rule that you thought applied?

  • @Katejrodeo34

Roping is a western class. The whole reason I even saw this video is because I read about it in a magazine I subscribe to called "America's Horse" which is an AQHA magazine. In the article they intervew Trevor about it, and he even states that he was disqualified. He didn't even plan on doing the run bridleless until the last minute when a friend challenged him to do it, as he had never even practiced it.

I'm not saying it wasn't an amazing run, because it was.

  • @Katejrodeo34 no this is at a AQHA show. Rules state western tack. Trevor knew the rules and you can be assured there was some money change hands. He plays it off as a challenge but, it was a bet. Just as you said they made it look easy. that horse is amazing

  • That was GREAT!!!

  • WOW sexy cowboy!

  • This horse is Amazing!! Trevor isnt to bad either!

  • Thanks for showing those cowboys you don't need a bit to be a real man! Congrats on your wonderful relationship with your horse!

  • Natural Horsemanship!! this guy and texaco rocks!!

  • whoa. THATS a horse!!!

  • That`s a truly great horse and a great rider ! Love it ! :-)))

  • shows just what good training can do

  • ya think he would take 500 for him hahaha

  • Your horse is one of a kind trevor!

  • Lari Dee Guy trained this horse!

    this was amazing.

trevor is the man and this horse is a legend

  • Whoaa thats awsome! I give him alot of credit and the gorgeous horse he's on thats true teamwork.

  • I don't want a horse 'broke' , but trained! I am so glad to see natural horsemanship at higher levels - there is no fear in that horse. No tie downs, big bits and mechanics to 'make' the horse. Great to see!

  • Ya But Who trained the horse??????????

Cool stuff but send credit the right way.

  • Love Love Love!!!!

  • This is not just about broke, this is trust by horse and rider.

  • Hey, he's about half broke!!

  • Comment removed

  • Reminds me of Brent Lewis on Grumpy. Same deal on a dare but this one was in the Wrangler round at the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo. It counted & Brent won 2nd & $12,000. Oh yea, he used a mane-holt & leg pressure 'stead of a rein. Ask Trevor, Grumpy was broke!

  • I knew that horse was great, but thats amazing.

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing.
