She has an amazing voice, and you'r point is true although it is badly made.

She hasn't "used" she's re-interprated(sp) them and made them into her own style. It isnt a carbon copy of anyone elses style. I can safely say after seeing Beverly Knight live a fair few times that she has a truely amazing voice, and should be dealt a better hand in having her own songs, rather than covers, but she is still an amazing singer.

As i have said before no-one is doubting she is a good singer but as i'll say again she is nothing more than a cover artist, a karaoke singer with more money and probebly a better voice, she could break free from whatever she is in and get a good manager and support network she choses to stay a cover artist because it is safer for her, she hasnt been dealt a poor hand she is the poor hand who either choses to hold her tallent back by not producing her own songs or has no song writing tallent xx

Omg this version really sucks. Robyn wrote it and sung it form the very first beginning and this cover is just so freakin' bad. And sad. Beverly does'nt even know what the song is about. Robyns version wasnt a hit in the UK, nothing she had done up to Beverley's version being a hit had hit since 1998 so to English listeners this was original & Beverley being the true professional that she is put her own mark on it & made it her own. It's 1 of only 2 cover versions in her whole singles career which spans 14 years.
