The GSXR600 is a great beginner bike. My 24 year old daughter rides one, and the bike is extremely reliable. The good thing about the 600 is that there is very little torque, and will not wheelie unless you clutch it up. The brakes are good, and it handles quite well, although it is quite under-powered. Its a great bike for people entering the entry level sport-bike class, allowing them time to gain experience before moving to a full sized man's bike.

@acetelenta I don't need a 1000c. The 600c is fast enough. I don't see the reasoning behind getting a 1000c. The 1000c is more money, heavier and goes 30-40mph faster? I would rather save the extra money.

@goosedizzel i preffer the 750 but thats my opinion i have k6 600 and an k9 750. when im cruising just to chill out i ride in mode c or if im going full on i ride mode a i hardly use b. i never looked at k8 & k9 600's do they have the abc mode?

Crazy story behind it though haah

Was driving home from camping and 3 sick cars passed me :s 2 Supras and an Integra that were just done up to shit haha... so I started racing them and shit and ended up slowing down a bit with one of them...

a cop comes flying from behind us and pulls me over... then 3 other cops fly over the grass median and pull the other 3 cars over... 2 of the cars got impounded and me and the other guy got big tickets for excessive :(
