I've got not the slightest idea... This is just a video for a game we played once. Maybe take your question to someone in forensic research or somthing. Contact your local police agency?

when fingerprints overlap can you still determine whos they are.? say you drank a glass but held it more than once.

@wadosbn4lyf- depending on how far of overlap you have, as long as you can identify 12 pattern matches it is admissable as evidence in court

That's not that easy actually.

Basicaly I made 2 concentric circles of inward pointing stripes that revolve in a different direction in premiere.

Then I used photoshop to make some fingerprint pics in green with transparant background and put them in premiere on the timeline. Each fingerprint picture remains for about 4 frames, than there's the next one.

And finally, the little rounds and horizontal stripes, by using the motion tool (also used for larger circles).
