lowes and home depot are drestroying the rep of solid surface. they under cut price of small fab shops. they offer no customer service. there sales staff has no idea what they do. they actually sell the color platnum granite and told customer it is granite adn they can cut their food on it.. Lowes and homedepot are ripping off the public on a major scale.

Solid Surfaces has bitten off more than they can chew. They signed an agreement with Home Depot after already being the installer for Lowes in our area. They are unable to schedule work, keep product in stock and deliver on their committment. Lowes had to intervene with their Regional Manager. They cancelled my install 15Jun11 because they are out of product to fabricate and it is on backorder. Really - it's suprise in Jun that you need the product to deliver a countertop purchased in Apr??
