it's very interesting that nicole kidman is brought up and i have to mention the golden compass which she was recently in. well, it's part of a trilogy and in the third book, the amber spyglass, nicole kidman's character steals a chair called an intention craft which operates just like the montauk chair...

i suspect some of them are used because they pursue fame, and others are aware of it but they are only aware in a closed-shop way - ie it's part of rituals they do within Scientology or some other cult-whatever. My brother told me he had read....that they are saying there is a volcano under the ice causing the heat and the possible cause of melting glaciers. That would be typical, lying to us about the truth. Just like all of the Egytian (mummies/gold) artifacts found in caves along the grand canyon walls.
