I'm not but why is it anti-Korean to criticize something about Korea? No doubt Korea has economic potential but it needs enough market size to become that big. China and India are not there yet but they both have big enough market to become world top economies. Sure that doesn't mean everyone's well off. That's another matter entirely.

I'm not but why is it anti-Korean to criticize something about Korea? No doubt Korea has economic potential but it needs enough market size to become that big. China and India are not there yet but they both have big enough market to become world top economies. Sure that doesn't mean everyone's well off. That's another matter entirely.

The market potential is already in other countries. Ask Europeans if they know Samsung and LG pretty well. Heck ask mother Russia whats the most commonly known tech brand and they will say LG. Ask many countries in east asia who dominates their car market, they will say Hyundai or Kia. What we don't know here in America, we lack info in foreign countries especially watching our form of American news here.

Sally, thanks for thinking so highly of Korea but let's face the reality. Korea is reasonably clean compared to the developed world but it's not the cleanest. I've been to Japan and Singapore and many other cities in Asia. Singapore is THE cleanest. I found Tokyo to be cleaner and more organized than Seoul. Things are improving in Seoul but let's face the fact shall we?

Technology wise perhaps but economy wise, Korea will need to unify with North to exceed Japan's economy as a whole. South Korea is less than half of Japan's landmass and population

Third largest economy by 2025 and 25 years later is to supress all countries's economy expect usa-Goldman sachs...one of biggest banks in the world. Look at up in Wikipedia. I guess u have point there....but one fact is for sure...Korean is still one of fastest developing developed country in the world. Korea's economy is still growing. Just because the country is rich doesn't mean its citizens are all wealthy.I don't think all japanese ppl are rich just because their country economy is strong.
