Now it's the other way around. CGI should have opened a door to the most wonderful opportunities in film making. Instead it has become a short cut for the studios to reach for profits at the expense of quality.
Not very good, pork and beans, too much beans (cheap scenes), not enough pork (sci-fi). It looks like everyone wore their street clothes for the movie, no costume budget. Like "War Of The Worlds" with all the alien stuff taken out.
@warbird1786 if the remake for clash of the titans sucks i can guarantee that the remake for this movie will suck just as much. They always have to resort to excessive CGI shit; this movie should be left alone. I prefer the older technology because they were forced to write screenplays with an actual plot.

For example in this trailer the first thing narrator said is IT MAY HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE TIME, then He go o to say ( Written in the Stars is our World Doom, then he states A Scientist discovers "A distinct star racing towards this planet , and notices what color the star appears HUMMMMa
