But what separates GW from other gundam adaptations is that its not a whole army vs army plot, its five teenagers who are taking on a whole organization. Epyon isn't better than Destiny.... Epyon was replaced by a Talgeese IIII. A freaking Talgeese, the whipping boy of Wing. Destiny on the other hand has Shining Finger.
@SazukeEX1 Epyon was not replaced if your talking about Endless Waltz all of the Gundams there was different because it's an OVA. if you watched it you will notice on the first part of the Movie is a Flashback of the War Milliardo started but all of the Gundams there was Custom in other words the Anime and the OVA are different.

@mraero200 Depends on the boosters at that point while Zero may have 4 Epyon could have 2 big ones. I would say zero is more nimble if my guess is right with the 4 slightly smaller boosters.
I have a epyon custom wallpaper on my background and a friend of mine goes "Why of ALLL the 100s of gundams do you have to have epyon?" No reason really I just like it.
IMO the best looking gundam out all the series.. Even though the destruction gundams in ZETA + SEED (the bulky ones) look cool i think they are both considered mobile armors.

the good thing about gundam wing was that it was very realistic with how the governments operated with the other gundam series you got one enemy fighting for peace and other for dominance. This series showed more of about politics only gripe is that so many events happen in just a 1 year span

Gundam Wing is cool but the suits are way over powered. When a series makes it to where the bad guys cannot really damage the good guys it makes the series get boring after a while. I still don't see why the enemy even sends regular suits because the Gundams blow them up like 10 at a time. I thought the 8th MS Team was way cooler and more interesting even though the suits weren't godly strong. When you get to the point where a suit has the power to destroy planets you've taken it too far.

I just watched most of the Gundam Wing series and I have to say that I redact what I said. The problem I see comes from misleading graphics. The Wing series is really good the only real improvement that needs to be made is with the animation.....but I understand it's an old show so the "poor animation" is a result of the time and not the creator.

@msalak87 the reason the gundams were so overpowered was because uunlike most gundams, these weren't created by an army, or for a traditional war. these gundams were made for destroying enemy bases with over 30 mobile suits, and then escaping without a trace. if it were a more traditional gundam, theywould have been ripped to shreds in the fiirst few minutes. besides the gundams were overpowered by shere numbers several times, and aalso unlike other gundams, they didn't have any military aid

An awesome tribute vid to what is by far my favorite Gundam and first choice to use in combat! I always used Epyon in Gundam Dynasty Warriors 1& 2, but sadly that game has a lot of flaws in it's gameplay and screwed up the way Epyon functions by making the flight mode activate when you click dash twice. I normally used dash to maneuver past attacks in the first game, but in 2 it triggers the transformation and fucks up my attack, I swear they don't think when they make these games.
the beam sword was completely unique aswell, the sword was connected directly to the power source for the epyon, that allowed the sword size to be increased in both width and length at the pilots will, thus its ability to cut through the fortress barge with very little ease
An excellent Gundam, made even more so by the fact that it fights so well despite being at a clear disadvantage (no ranged weapons, though a vulcan gun was added somewhere near the end).

@irongut12345 Dude I watched them both, and I watched Wing when it premiered on Toonami and on DVD later. There is some room for comparison but this had more plot. Hell 00 is one of the few series worth mentioning alongside wing.

epyon is the devil given form, seriously, even the name has a weird evil feeling, epyon, that dosen't sound like something good but it's awesome, it's amazing, and it can equal wing zero, so i like it
Its also one of the fastest Gundams and it utilizes the zero system which allows the pilot to respond well beyond normal human capabilities, it would force a ranged Gundam into close combat like it did with Wing Zero.
My brother used Milliardo and i mean epyons good but for some reason i used Athrun Zala (dont ask me why) and his Infinite Justice Gundam is ridiculous i swear i got his melee, shot ,armor, and thrusters to 100% and lvl 50 Athrun
In my opinion the only problem with Epyon was the severe instability of the ZERO system--you must think only of the mission, not of victory, or you will go berserk. Other than that, it is possibly the best close-combat Gundam, aside from Deathscythe Hell (the best non-ZERO close combat). Do away with the limitations brought on by the ZERO-system, (or master it), and you have possibly one of the most lethal close-combat Gundams ever made, of all series.
Epyon IS the best close combat Gundam ever made, but that's because it's only made for close combat. It has absolutely no ranged moves, not even a low power gun, so it isn't some invincible God among Gundams, it can easily be dealt away with using a long range weapon and a pilot with real good aim. Still, Epyon is my favorite :P
Imagine if Epyon replaced Zero in the series.

Gundam wing was the best on out of the series. The weapons were awesome just like pilots

Or could stand for the "next" level of warfare or the new age of war that Treize envisioned. His principles of honor and what it meant to be a warrior were supposed to be carried on through Epyon.

all those who keep comparing this stuff to gundam 00 are gay fags and dont know shit about gundam, if u never watched gundam wing i suggest you do cause even tho gundam 00 might be graphically intensive and awesome to drool over you just cant beat gundam wing on originality and pure awesome gundams, epyon was bad ass, he was original and also owned 1 hell of a unique weapon, the heat rod/shield. you dont find them anymore in any series!

@irongut12345 Dude I watched them both, and I watched Wing when it premiered on Toonami and on DVD later. There is some room for comparison but this had more plot. Hell 00 is one of the few series worth mentioning alongside wing.

Its also one of the fastest Gundams and it utilizes the zero system which allows the pilot to respond well beyond normal human capabilities, it would force a ranged Gundam into close combat like it did with Wing Zero.
P.S. I like Epyon now.

I don't even have a ps2, but I keep going over to my friend's house to play as Milliardo with Epyon.
My friend uses Gundam Mk II, with rank 4 parts and Uso (level 34)
I use Epyon with 3 rank 3 parts and 2 rank 2s and Milliardo (level 29)
...I get more kills AND more aces.

My brother used Milliardo and i mean epyons good but for some reason i used Athrun Zala (dont ask me why) and his Infinite Justice Gundam is ridiculous i swear i got his melee, shot ,armor, and thrusters to 100% and lvl 50 Athrun

In my opinion the only problem with Epyon was the severe instability of the ZERO system--you must think only of the mission, not of victory, or you will go berserk. Other than that, it is possibly the best close-combat Gundam, aside from Deathscythe Hell (the best non-ZERO close combat). Do away with the limitations brought on by the ZERO-system, (or master it), and you have possibly one of the most lethal close-combat Gundams ever made, of all series.

Epyon IS the best close combat Gundam ever made, but that's because it's only made for close combat. It has absolutely no ranged moves, not even a low power gun, so it isn't some invincible God among Gundams, it can easily be dealt away with using a long range weapon and a pilot with real good aim. Still, Epyon is my favorite :P
