@MsKalex89 Baking powder is simply 1 part baking soda and 2 parts Cream of tartar. If you don't use baking powder it won't get the leavening it needs.
Here's the ingredients list and batter instructions. :) 2 Tablespoons Sugar 1 Egg 3/4 Cup Milk Pinch of Salt 1 1/4 Cup Flour 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 3/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1. Combine Flour, Sugar, Baking Soda, and Baking Powder. Stir 2. Add salt, egg, and milx. 3. Stir until smooth.
@21vampzkaur You could probably find them in your local kitchen store. Most of the time there in a kit. I didnt want the whole kit. So what I did was cut out an old cookie tin to make the ring its essentially the same thing and its cheep. As for the egg you could use 2 tbsp of corn starch, potato starch or arrowroot powder. Its mostly to thicken and add some flavor. Good luck
@WakkoXtreme yeah, if you prefer terrible cakes....
Tell me, if I put two different recipes in front of you, one with fresh, great quality ingredients, and the other boxed Bisquick brand crap, which would you choose?
@Licazy your oil wasn't hot enough so it absorbed all in.
