A racist mentality says the two are mutually exclusive. I have not heard Obama pledge "alliance" to blackness, but to do so would not require that he deny his God. I believe he should be faithful to his God who made him black. To assume that he is anti Jesus because he is pro black is racist and ridiculous. Christ incarnate was a black man. The Christian bible preaches tolerance. Obama supports ideas of tolerance towards American minorities. The bible preaches charity. Obama's policies (along with John Edwards) are the greatest reflection of this as they call for a better welfare system that aides more Americans in escaping poverty. Obama is a true Christian with truly Christian values. I would vote for him if he was a Muslim, because his values reflect those of mine as a Christian.

The Bible DOES NOT preach tolerance. It preaches that "Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that NO ONE (sorry, but that includes Muslims) comes to the Father, except by me". The Bible preaches that ALL of us have "gone astray" and that without our sin bearer, Jesus Christ, we will go to hell. I think you've read the "Bible light"/the "user-friendly Bible", not the true, hard words of the Gospel.

There is nothing inherently violent about Islam, Islamic Militantism is a political and not a religious phenommenon. Obama is a smart guy who knows how to prevent terrorism from occuring, by building a strong relationship with American Muslims.

Obama attacks the 'muslim' rumour for 2 reasons. Firstly it is untrue and offensive to him as a Christian. Secondly he attacks it because in America there should be nothing wrong with being a Muslim. If being labelled a muslim is an attack on one's character then America is not a place of tolerance but a place of racism and xenaphobia. Anti-Islamic sentitment can potentially radicalise an already marginalised American Muslim population potentially sewing the seeds for home-grown terrorism.

Obama is NOT a Biblical Christian. If you studied the Bible you'd know that. He stands up for abortion (and TWICE voted against The Born Alive Protection Act); that's a bill that protects the "rights" of babies born alive after an abortion. Obama wanted doctors to have the right to kill them.
